Hi ladies (& gents) just wondered how many of you all would believe this. I know many are prob reading this thinking just do a test and then youl know-thats fine but i wont be doing one for a few weeks yet so just wondered.

As you all know h2b and i have been trying for a baby since may (after a very long journey most of you may remember) but nothing so we said we would stop end of aug 12 as we are getting married aug 13 and i have already got my dress so no room for a bump lol :D

Well that was all fine, then one day we went to go see h2b mum (dont ask me why) but she kept saying to me that im pregnant and i was like yeah yeah but she kept saying it anyway i thought nothing of it and a few days later we were there again and still she kept saying i was pregnant. So i decided to ask her how she would possibly know? she said she had a dream but i was like that means nothing!!!!she then felt my tummy and said definetly and i was like no im just fat! (i do have a bit of a bump but im convinced its fat!) Then she said that she has told a few people they have been pregnant when they didnt know and she was right on all occasions, but me being me was like that could justa been a lucky guess lol. The next thing she dropped a bombshell she said she just knew and could feel it that i was pregnant and that she has been told by a few psychics she sees that she should start doing pyschic work too as she also has the gift! EEEEEKKKKKK so now im starting to wonder.

What would you all think she really has it in her mind i am

I thought there were tests out there that could tell if your pregnant a few days after you conceive !! I would be down the shop now looking but thats just me i couldn't wait to find out if i was pregnant and did test 3 days before my period was due because i had a feeling i might of been pregnant and I was. So exciting for you good luck x

Well your H2B's mum didn't give you a time frame, so you could already be a few weeks gone without knowing it. If you can wait until a few weeks then that's a decision for you, but if it were me it would be eating me up inside for weeks unecessarily!

you don't have to wait a few weeks. seriously, get to a pound shop and buy their tests. super cheap and the MOST accurate i've used. i found out i was pregnant within days of conception (seiously 4-5 days) with all three of mine using strips and not expensive tests.

lol cause if i were to do a test just now it would be too soon so like the test may show negative if i am pregnant its just too soon to do a test

buy the double pack tests, then you can do 1 now and another in a couple of weeks. Both my pregnancies showed up 10 days before my monthly's were due.

oh id get one quick i got mine of the bay 99p and they worked week before i was due on, they are so more reliable now that you don't have to be that pregnant i knew i was pregnant two days after conception i felt different and test came back positive, it could be her wedding party trick for your guests lol

i swear i was sick the day after all three of mine were concieved!! lol just once, the day after.

my eldest's gran went to a psychic a few weeks before i found out i was pregnant (which must've been just before or around conception date!!) and they said that 'there is a baby, a girl. there is a girl who has shoulder length hair. she is around you in a friendly manner.' he paused and said 'the name jon is very strong'. that is her son and my eldest's dad!!! it was freaky!! lol she didn't make the connection between her son's name and the pregnancy because there was a pause and it was NOT something she would think of as we were young. she thought he was talking about a baby she miscarried years before. she's got a cassette of the reading. when i listened to it after we found out i was pregnant, i was like, how the hell did you not put two and two together?? lol we laugh about it though

just do a test

I work in maternity and we have had a spate of late bookers, women who have come in for a routeen scan thinking they are between 10 &12 weeks and finding out that they are 14-16, two who were in the 32-36 range but I think they were hoping ignorance would take care of it. The earlier ones had their period as normal, not just spotting or a small bleed. It's been scaring the bejinkies out of me even though h2b is in afghan so not a hope.

I say do the test, your last period could have been an implantation bleed.

implantation bleed? Crikey, that sounds scary!!!!! Not sure I'm ready for this stage just yet lol!!!

Do a test, there is no harm at all in doing one now, and if it comes out negative you can let mil2b know her radar is on the fritz. If you're still unsure do another one in a few weeks, then you have the option of keeping it quiet for longer if you are.

And if you don't do a test for yourself, please do one for us because I am dying to know now!!!! xxx

I'm sure we'd all pee for you if we could...but then that would kind of defy the point of this! but don't worry, drink plenty and itll come naturally. if where you are is anything like here, then stare outside for a while, the rain will soon get you wanting to go! or think niagra falls....xx
