We have an order of service from our Minister and there is an option of 2 or 3 hymns. How many is too many??
I have only found one I desperately want (Lord of the Dance) so would it be okay to only have 2 hymns?

I just dont want people thinking 'god this wedding is dragging!!' ahaha.. im really picky with hymns so i think even picking the last one is going to be a trouble.. le sigh haha

I loved the hymns we chose, our first two were slightly more modern (within 30 years old!) but the lyrics are so moving, they can be taken for spiritual or physical relationships, and the last because hubby is from South Wales and I love the hymn anyway :-)

You need hyms that people know too so they all sing and i love that song and its a cheerful song to choice. I think 3 is about right, not too many but equally enough xx

we've chosen 3 hymns Morning has broken, lord of the dance and god in the planning and purpose of life as it was fitting with us then being married. we put lord of the dance in the middle to wake people up lol

We're having three hymns, seems to be the norm and service will still only take about 40 mins max.
