Hello ladies just wondering f you can help me? I am torn between bridesmaids dresses there is 2 in the bridal shop there is one i really like it is £175 the other is also quite nice but is £220 however i have been looking at ebay and seen a lovely dress on there too quite like the one at £220 but its £35 each on ebay this would save us a lot of money as am having 3 bridesmaids however unsure of what it would be like to order dresses from ebay.
How many bridesmaids are you all having and how much are their dresses? Would anyone consider ebay for a BM dress?

I'm having 1 adult (MOH) my sis and 3 smaller BM, 2 x nieces aged 9 & 6 and our daughter who will be 8 I am hoping not to spend as much as the ones you have seen!
I would order from ebay but am worried about the girls sizes as they are clearly going to grow and they are not standard sizes!!! Also for that price, i reckon they will be china dresses x

Hm are china dresses good or bad? the company that is selling them on ebay there address is birmingham so at least its in the uk. My partner thinks i should order them now incase they sell out but i think they will be on there by dec still if its a business wont it?

I would send them a message and ask hun. Sometimes the location is the uk that they deal with orders and then send details over for them to be made I've heard good and bad things re china dresses tbh

I have 5 bridesmaids 6 with my little girl, Im having there dresses made. £40 for the younger three £80 for the older two and £30 for my little girl and £30 for my day after dress. Dont know if its worth asking a local dressmaker? x

dont know , china dresses are good, especially bridesmaid dresses. I bought 2 evening dresses from china, both chiffon , and I am happy with both of them. I also bought a wedding dress and although i was not happy with the colour, the workmanship was second to none. I am making my bridesmaid dresses for £45-£50 each out of pure silk taffeta.....and from a shop I wouldnt have got any change from £250 each being as they are pure silk and not polyester taffeta.

Iv got 2 adult bms 1junior 4teenager and 4 flowergirls iv got all dresses from bhomes adults/teens got for 85.00 (sud b 125 but got them on promo) teenage for £50(sud be£65) and flowergirl dresses £28.00 (sud b 40.00) save loads when u get them on promo n with codes. N the quality is amazing i love them so much and personally glad i didnt buy them of ebay but everything else i have is from ebay lol xxx

i have my maid of honour (niece) and my 3 daughter all there dress are being made 2 will be £150 other 2 are £100 they are the same price as what i was looking at in bridal shops but couldn't find the style and colour i wanted and it works out cheaper to get them made as they all would have needed a lot of alterations for normal dresses. i did look at getting them china dresses but i couldn't get the younger ones to match the older ones and i wanted them all in similar styles my eldest will be 13 when we getting married but she is small for her age and would have need a age 11 dress so to get one to fit her it would have been to babyish in style.

We have 3 bridesmaids and the dresses were £160 each, with 10% discount as part of the deal for buying my dress from them too x Still to get flower girls outfit... I love shopping for dresses! x

They are China made dresses at that price, I bought my wedding dress from them and it is beautiful and I know a lot of people who have bought dresses from there and they have been really good, the China shops don't change the prices if u need to buy them do it later on nearer the time of ur wedding that's what I am going to do x

we have bm's dropping like flies since we asked them to buy thier own outfits, if we didnt we couldt afford our dream venue. So I am thinking s*d off, if you cant help i dont care lol. We had asked them to buy thier own INSTEAD of getting us a gift or anything.
BUT if we were paying we seen some nice maxi dress tyle ones on ebay for £42 including postage.
As ar as china dresses go, REALLY search the sellers feedback, if theyve good feedback you should be ok

What a lot of people dont realise is, when they order from a wedding dress shop, why do you think it takes so long to get them...like 12 weeks or something, and where are they made? CHINA.....
so basically you are just cutting out the middle man by going straight to China. (and as we all know, the middle man takes a HUGE cut)
