    Hi to all,

Can anyone help? Im in London.
I need to know how long roughly would I need to hire transport for? Im hoping the venue is not going to be too far from where I get married, quite possibly might be church but due to circumstances (curch might be having their floor re done) it might end up being registry office! in either case how long do you reckon I would need the transport for?

Or is there a minimum length of time that I have to hire it for?

    Any suggestions???? x

Most company's ask where your getting married and base the cost from that for distance.
We actually got ours for half price as we are getting married in the same place as the venue so wouldnt need to travel anywhere else!
So we got ours for one way travelling plus for photos after the service, so about 2 hours in total!

I would hun. Some will give you a price per hour but if you end up getting a venue thats 2 hours away (unlikely but just an example) and youve only booked for two hours your pretty much stuck if you need to go elsewhere and theres no chance to get the car in the photos!

Yeah, ours is a price for all day hire and as many trips as needed, but they needed to know the addresses for pick up and drop off etc to get us the quote etc - book your transport after you've confirmed your venues :-)

Our car is costing £225 for a 30 minute hire. I'm being picked up from my house and taken up to the Castle which is only a 10 minute drive.

I was quoted £350 to start with but managed to get him down to £225. I was told the price includes, preparation of the car, chauffeur, car ribbon and flowers. I think I might buy a classic car myself and hire it out for weddings

Yeah we got ours for 285 for the whole day so multiple trips possible, which we snapped up straight away as the going rate seemed to be around 400 for the day - for one car only! Crazy prices but good if you can get it :-)

We got our transport at a good price because it was classed as a local wedding to where they were based. We paid £250 and that included two trips to the venue from hotel - then return trip to the hotel for the reception just for me and husband, and we got to have a drive round and some time to ourselves first. Oh and it was my favourite vehicle ever - a VW Camper!!! lol

Yeah there are fees to pay, but you'd still have to pay licence fees etc for a civil wedding too - usually things like flowers, choir, bells etc are all extra too which I liked as it gave the option of picking and choosing what aspects you wanted - but I wanted them all! So our total fees are coming in at 642 including bell ringers, adult choir, organ etc - but thankfully it's only 20 donation for the church flowers as there's 3 weddings in 2 days and we're splitting the cost of the flowers!
