I've been here about 2 weeks so far and am doing quite well so far, but realise that the gold stars take MUCH longer than the others.

Ive been a member for about 2 years now and im nearly there but when i fell pregnant with my daughter and knew i wasnt going to be planning just yet i didnt come on here for a bout a year so never racked up any points but since ive been back ive fairly bumped up the points and only have about 300 points to get my 5th gold heart and stop paying for my power user status lol

I joined around end May/early June, and last week got my 5th gold star - I'd already started paying the monthly power user fee of £2.50 instead of the annual £20 and am very glad I did as now my monthly payments will stops! so that's only 5.5 months or so and 13.50 spent :-)

I only use the forum on here - what does the power user status entitle you to apart from putting pics into the thread and taking part in competitions?

Not a lot really, a lot of it is still under development - you can see the greyed out icons on your home page - I only paid for the PU status to get entered into the competitions - none of which I've won yet! However, a lot of the advertisers on here offer a PU discount so it's worth it for me, I got 25% off my videographer which saved me over 300 quid! You can see the power user discount offer on the mini-ads on your wall, or by doing a supplier search :-)
