I'm getting married in 4 years and a month, lol, and i've already chosen my dress.. not bought it yet, but I have checked that they will still make it for me closer to the time.. Am hoping to slim a little, but incase I dont i'm not ordering the size I want to be, It'll be a difficult dress to make alterations too.. (pics on profile) x

ok dont laugh but ive had mine for 3 years, only know h2b for 2 1/2 years, its true, i just happened to see a gorgeous dress that i feel in love with in the sale, had spare money at the time so thought why not, thats my dress and if i never get married i can always sell it on for a profit.
but now i actually get to wear it :)

i tried on dresses for the first time last october. I went to a different shop on the easter bank holiday weekend and found my dress. Havent ordered it yet will be doing that in july but i know where it is and what it is (pics on profile!) and im not getting married till next august!

l ordered my dress in Nov last year, it's due to arrive around July l bought it from shop called the wedding planner in helensburgh, l just recieved a lovely tea length ivory wedding dress l;m going to change into, this one came from on line wedding shop and its lovely exactly like the picture fully lined with boned bodice xx ( pic of both on my album page ) xx

I started looking about a year in advance but only bought it in January - 5 months before. I was told that it takes 3 months to be made and delivered. I have my final fitting tomorrow and get married the following week! Try and do as much as you can in advance to save stress at a later date and spread the cost. Some wedding dress shops will look after your dress until the big day so it won't matter how far in advance you buy it. x

I got mine just over a month ago and I'm not getting married until Aug 2011. I had been looking ever since my h2b proposed, which was last Nov. I planned on getting mine second-hand to save money so I knew I would have to be on the look out early to find a dress I liked at a good price, and that wasn't too far out from my dress size, so that it could be altered. But if you are buying new then you wont have to look quite as early as when you find a dress you like, you can order it in your size, but when I was going to dress shops, they said I would have to order the dress at least 6 months before.

my dress took 9mnths to come into the shop i ordered mine at the start of organisen everythin which was 2 year in advance a tip from me though dnt keep lookin after u get it..xxx

Bought mine about a month ago. Love it - it fits me now but hoping to lose weight so I can look even better already done claimed I'll use Chicken Fillets if I lose my bust as I usually lose them first.
The days are flying by, can't wait :)
