is everyone going straight after? because our wedding is mid school holidays, we decided to wait a couple of weeks until the honeymoon, as it saved us £500 per person! anyone else waiting a while before going on honeymoon? are you doing anything else in between? am just worried it wont feel like a honeymoon but just a holiday because we have had to wait!

We chose our wedding date so we could go straight after the wedding. Well wedding Sat, fly Mon morning.

We are waiting 10 weeks, as both our boys start senior school so wanted to get them settled first before jetting off and leaving them all with nanny for 2 weeks lmao!!!
Do not disturb... Already disturbed enough!

we have to go in the school hols as we have 2 kids

we would have loved to have gone straight after, but we couldnt turn down saving £1000 off our budget. its a shame you get penalised for going on holiday during school holidays.

We're getting married in the school holidays - then hopefully going on honeymoon a few days later (not booked yet though). I work in a school so have to do everything then, but hate the idea of higher prices because of the school hols (as we can't do it any other time given where I work).

I'm getting married abroad, so family will be there, probably will have another one a few months after! I guess its whenever it suits you!

We wont be going for a few months after the wedding as we are hoping to see the Northern Lights and they recommend that you go between November & March (we are getting married in August)
CommentAuthorMrs fairytale
we are hoping (if we have the money) to go a week after the wedding, as the kids have a week at school still after the wedding then they break up for a week and we want to go in the school hoildays so my mum doesnt have to do the school runs lol xx

we are going on a minimoon the day after the wedding for three days, but we are not actually going on the proper honeymoon untila bout 7 months later as we get married in august and the cruise that we want to go on is not until march, but we are happy to wait till then especially being as we are asking for money from guests for the honeymoon, it gives us plenty of time to sort it out and get it paid for but we will book it as soon as the brochure comes out so that we can get the suite we want x
I have know my soulmate for 27 years and on the 6th August
I married him and became Mrs Garnham.
It was most definitely the happiest day of my life.
I love married life !!!!

we can't decide, either going on a minimoon and then on honeymoon a couple of months later (as we want to back to florida and september will be hurricane season). or we might go somewhere else and go straight after the wedding. Depends on money really i think x

Whenever suits you, we're trying to work on family having my children so we can jet off for a week. We've made so much savings on our budget that we can now afford a honeymoon (not anywhere massively exotic but hey, a week, in the sun, together, BONUS) Our wedding is planned in termtime, which is ok for us, and the sitters cos all they'd have to do is the school run twice a day! :)
CommentAuthorMrs Alsbetty
we are going a year later haha unless we get the holiday vouchers we have asked for if people want to buy us a present, Al wants to plan it for next year i don't know what it is!! hehe but we will wait a year, so we will see what happens with the vouchers and book somewhere if we can we have got 2 weeks off after so will just be nice to have time together at home as mr and mars marriott x
Enjoying being a wifey!!
Currently baking a small person at last, took a while :)
