I set aside £800 in my budget for two wedding cars, thinking we'd have change from it! How wrong I was!

Has anyone else considered just hiring a car for the day from a rental dealer, decorating it themselves and roping in some friends to drive for you? I'm very tempted. I would love to have a mini cooper s for my wedding car, and I would MAKE the dress fit, but no one seems to hire them in the colour I want (electric blue). Anyone know of any good dealers or wedding providers in the central Scotland area? Preferably nearer Edinburgh so I don't have to pay a massive mileage bill!

    xx

We paid £300 for one beauford car so could have had 2 for £600. It's doable if you shop around - depending on what sort of car you want!

I've been looking around and it seems it costs between £300 and £400 for a decent car

Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)

You need to shop around hun, there are good deals out there. I had a gorgeous mercedes. It took my BM's to the church first, then come back and took me and my dad, then stayed on an drove me and husband to the reception. All that for £230. Paul didnt have a car, my brother picked him up and took him to the church as he was getting there an hour before the service so no one would of even seen his car.

I have found a company that deliver and hire mini cooper in blue in the Edinburgh area so have added link to your wall. Shop around for wedding hire cars too as they aren't all that expensive. We just borrowed a car from my bros car sales place for the groom and best man to use and bought ribbon from Tesco to decorate and also cleaned my Dads car and used it for the bridesmaid and my Mum to use and then it returned to pick Dad and I up. We got a friend of my bros to be chauffeur for the day. xx

Well I would add the link to your wall but your page is restricted so I have added the link to my wall instead so that you can view it if you click on my username on my post. xx
