Hi hun
I was very like you, I started January last year and although I didnt buy, I already knew exactly what I wanted. I'd go for it but remember that if you do it all now, you'll have all that excitement closer to the time and nowhere to direct it as it'll all be done lol x
nah never too early but i love your date!!! were planning my mum and dads ruby wedding on that date as that will officially be their anniversary, were redoing their original wedding but with a few modern day twists!!!! xx
All the ways of my life id rather be with you.
Theres no way without you.

No never to early, the more time you have planning, the more organised you will be. I went on a bit of a mad one when we started planning last year, and done most things, then it slowed for a little while, and now just over 6 months and only odd things & tying up loose ends, great. That way you are not running around to close to the day, you can relax and hopefully will be as stress free as possible. Totally agree with starting early, although you do get very excited and wish it will all happen sooner ;-) x

OMG you are so organised, and NO it's not too early to plan, the earlier the better actually
Soon to be Mrs Gary Doublé
Everything is now booked
Getting really stressed and excited now
CommentAuthorBanks
Agreed wioth everyone above, never too early. I have started planning and buying little thing in advance as then we can spread the cost over a longer time period. I think its great to get a head start, my H2B thinks otherwise, lol!x

Oh wow, that's impressive!! We were engaged 7 months before I even started looking at venues etc, and we're getting married a year before you and have still not finalised anything! :) x

No way! We booked loads pretty much the week we decided on the date (22 months before) there is 180 days to go and we are both chilled, relaxed and enjoying the fact that in 6months we will finally be married! friends of ours have had to cancel theres because they didnt plan, budget and book in time so now they cant have what they wanted! Enjoy it as the best is still yet to come x
CommentAuthorMrsDanks
If your enjoying yourself I say why not! xx

We get married on the 16.08.2014 and we have our church, venue and photographer. Only problem that we have is we want wedding insurance but its too early to get it yet so we are slowing down on the planning till the 730 days before the wedding when we can buy the insurance.
In my eyes plan early relax and be as stress free for the year we get married.
:) X

I dread to think how excited I'm going to be closer to the time. I've only got 15 months to go but am at a planning standstill. Unless h2b gets a new job so he can contribute more to the fund the only thing we can book this early is the photographer but thats budget dependant.
CommentAuthorLisa-marieW
We have 15 months to go but as we are getting married abroad I want to be as in control as possible! Having said that there is still loads of stuff to do and my head is constantly spinning but I am trying to enjoy all of it as much as poss along the way. Mother in law interference not included!
CommentAuthorSnowflake
The only thing i would say is don't buy too much as you might change your mind about different things. The more you look around the ideas you have and you see different prices etc. Congratulations :)
CommentAuthorHa_x3
I dont think its ever too early to start planning, :)

I got engaged december 2 years ago now and planned to get married a year later but due to one thing and another we have postponed twice now, so are getting wed 1/11/15 (might change to 26/10/15 as matt wants to get married on the 26th as we first met on the 26th jan) all the while we have been planning anmd buying little pieces here and there when we see them. Planning ahead can be a really good thing for example even tho we postponed we had already booked a few things but they have agreed to hold this years/last years prices for us which we figure will save us around 1-1and half k by the time the wedding comes around. :-)

We had 9 months between getting engaged and the wedding date - it's now 2months away and we wish we had more time! It is nice to know we will soon be married- we can't wait. BUT if only we had more time to save and pay for things over a longer period. Never too early to book plan and start paying hun x
