At the moment i am currently looking for ideas etc for flowers and what i want. I am having the bridesmaids in a orange or coral dress.. ( not decided yet) and my dress is ivory.. but near enough white.. i was thinking of having my bridesmaid bouquets white or ivory with a bit of green foliage and then i have the orange/ivory flowers with green foliage? i think the coloured bouquets look a little too much against the dresses and i just want to keep things simple.

does that sound ok? or tacky?... i am trying to mix things up and not be same old as the others... i am not poking fun at those who want tradition, i just personally dont.

Dont be scared to speak the truth, i would rather hear the truth girls :)

I agree - sounds lovely - I did mine a little like that - I figured mostly ivory flowers looked better against their coloured dresses and for me coloured flowers looked better against ivory dress - MOH i made slight mix of both x

I love the sound of green foliage sounds like my Bouquet will be fully green foliage knowing meh then me will want blue flowers for the bridesmaids and green foilage too would love to be able to get green n blue roses in my bouquet =D ♥ X

This is what mine will be like! My colours are coral and gold, so the bridesmaids will be in coral dresses with ivory flowers and green foliage, and then my flowers will be ivory and coral with some green foliage. I felt it would be too much to have the flowers the same as the dresses, plus it means that both their bouquets and mine will stand out against the dresses (mine is a diamond white, so not quite white, not quite ivory) xxx
