    Hi everyone.
Does anyone ever feel that their plans just seem to be all there is in life now? Ever since getting engaged last year it seems that all we ever talk about is the wedding, all our money goes straight on the wedding, all people talk to us about is the wedding. It's hard sometimes to remember what we talked about before we decided to get married. And sometimes we both find ourselve freaking out abit.
So how do you all deal with the whole "wedding has taken over our lives" stress? After all, it's supposed to be a fun time, isn't it?
    :)

but we are organising 2 weddings in my house @ the moment ( my mum gets married next saturday, so we are both always trying to get in the bath before the other person) its mayhem lol

Set aside one night a week, or a weekend a month for couple time- when wedding talk is completely banned!

Or live 400miles away from each other. The first is easier though.

I have to admit, it took over for the first few months, when I just did everything. Now I hardly do anything wedding related (although now I'm worrying that I may have forgotten something, lol) When companies ask what I have left to do they always seem shocked that it's practically done. Maybe I just went overboard at the start!

Thanks everyone. I think it's worse because we are planning it all ourselves (although I am sure having parents do it all comes with it's own nightmares).
I think we are going to have to be strict and limit wedding stuff to every other day or something.
Dove, we do live 90 miles apart at the moment, maybe I should try and find the other 310 somewhere :D

Wait until its all over!! Our wedding took over our lives, for unforseen circumstances we left a lot of the planning unitl 3 months before and was running around like headless chickens, 99% of conversations were about the wedding. the 2 days before the honeymonn we talked about 'how all the planning paid off' and 'wasnt it a good day' etc. then on the honeymoon we pratically didnt speak for 2 days. I think we both enjoyed the peace and quiet to de stress. Now we are back on track tlaking about crap like we used to. x x

Oh my gosh, I know exactly how you feel! usually I would be on facebook.....but no, I am on a wedding site! lol. even when I havent got wedding things to do, I am still checking what I have already done! Whenever we go out people always ask about the wedding and I have nothing left to tell them! We have been broke for the past 18 months because of the wedding, I cant remember life before the wedding and right now, there is no life after it, because it seems ages away!

Talking about rechecking things already sorted, that kind of did pay off for us this weekend, because we went back to our reception venue which is all booked and paid for, just to have another look around, and they were doing their first wedding in the marquee that we are having, and everything looked fantastic! And they had the red carpet out, and the champers was all ready to go in the sunken garden and the staff were all spic and span ready for the arrival.
We came away feeling very excited, so sometimes rechecking is a good thing :)
