I was wondering if there was a correct way to ask for them? Mine is called Reverend Andy Cain. Do I ask for Reverend Andy? Reverend Cain? Father Andy? etc? I really do not know what to say and don't want to offend him.

Yeah. I know when i need to speak to the priest i ask for father peter, but as he's a reverand don't know if its the same they very rarely use their surnames. He won't be offened xx

Well I managed to get away with it as he rang me and introduced himself as the reverend Andy Cain. He is very nice and we are having a meeting with him in the local pub next month. I'm so pleased that he sounds such a lovely man. I was nervous about who we got with them not being local to us.

usually the go by their first name my vicar Father Oliver e-mailed me last week to set up our meeting and signed it Fathere O i thought it was so funny but he is a young man so still has his youth about him lol
