Been feeling a bit deflated recently, and not a lot of wedding spark, am worried that this isn't right? Am I being stupid, or is it normal to go through stages like this?x

I get this a lot but this is mainly because I've been battling bouts of depression since I was 15. One day I could be perfectly fine and happy and then all of a sudden out of nowhere I slump into doubts and paranoia. Sometimes it could be triggered and sometimes it just happens and my OH has learned to read me well enough he can try and minimize it by taking me for a drive or a long walk with the dog.

This is obviously the sorta extreme side of things but I genuinly believe every bride2be doubts themselves at points and hit slumps where they think "why am I not excited?"

Try allocating 2 days a week where you have NO wedding talk AT ALL with anyone and do something fun if yo can.

Victoria idea about wedding free days is great .

It is normal as there is so much organisation and talk around the big day sometimes it consumes your life and with emotions it can take you to the highs and the lows . Just take some you time or even a date night with OH with no wedding talk and try and relax :)

It's normal, well I hope it is because I had some wobbles in the few months leading up to the big day, wondering if we were doing the right thing, scared he'd change his mind etc etc.

Try not to worry and just remember the wedding day is just one day, it's every day afterwards that counts so if you love each other and can't imagine being apart or life without each other then all will be fine xx

Everyone has points where they get sick of it. Give yourself a day off and have a date night.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
