Wedding Forum - How do h2b's make you feel special?...

H2b knows I've been feeling pretty crappy over the last few days as I've been stuck in the house with high pain levels and feeling altogether pretty crappy. He went shopping tonight and brought home a fluffy dog to 'keep me company' while he is at work and I'm feeling crappy. He just really knows how to make me feel better after a bad day. Bless his little cotton socks. I can see why I am going to marry him. He tells me he loves me everyday and also how special I am and also brings home flowers once in a while to. I just feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

What does your h2b do to make you feel special?

I've gotta cold atm and his love really shows, I'm being waited on hand and foot, lempsip drinks, timing between pill taking, tucking me up, hot water bottles. During normal days it's just little things like a big hug and a coffee ready for when I get home from work.

my h2b tells me he loves me about every 2 or three hours..he always holds hands, kisses me all the time, hugs and kisses me first thing when we wake up and last thing before we go to sleep, strokes my hair everytime he walks past me, calls me sweetness thing, winks at me, blows kisses to me, texts me at random just to say 'I love you' makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and the most loved, never lies to me, is never late, it just goes on and on.......he is an amazing man and I love him to bits xxxx

erm... bugger all!! lol
but he does make an effort every now and again (like 3 times maybe in 6 years...) and wen he does it seems soooo lovely - coz "its just not him" but he tells me he loves me everyday, tells me how beautiful i am everyday and has me stored on his fone as "sexy wif wif 2 b" lol :D xxx

every now and again mine will do things that make me think awww how sweet. like yesterday i was off work and seen on fb that hehad posted he is looking forward to spending the rest of the day with me xx

My 10 yr old would disagree...having a mum with a sense of humour is classed as embarassing! (-:

stevie dee im more and more convinced we are sharin the same h2b and yerh my daughter tells me to shut up when im singing or dancing cause im embarrasing :-( haha x

My h2b is amazing, he slags off people when I want him to ( atm it's my mum) he says "what a load of crap" when I ask him how how he makes me feel special, he kisses me when I/he gets home from work, he thinks of me even when I don't, he is just very attentive to all my needs whether expressed or not. He doesn't complain much when I drag him off the x-box to eat his tea.

he sticks up for me when people upset me and defends me and he tells me he loves me almost every day and will ring me everyday even if i have rung him and will chat to me for a bit even if he super busy xx but he also passes wind in bed and sticks my head under the cover and is just a typical man most of the time too!! sometimes if i ask him how i look if we goin out he says my top brings out my boobs which is a bit hmmm at times especially if he says it wen we out!! but he hates me taking ages to get ready esp if im getting stressed cos it not going right haha but he always tells me i look beautiful x

He tells me he loves me every chance he gets and tells me that I'm beautiful (I don't believe him but its nice to hear, lol).

And even though he thinks I'm mad for asking him to do it, he rings me every morning before he catches the train to work, lets me know when he gets to London and gives me one last call before he goes into the office, so I know he got there okay.

If you hadn't noticed, I'm a worrier. lol.

Also, whenever I'm sick, he buys me a Me to You bear or blue nose friend to make me feel better. One time, he bought a Garfield toy (a joke referring to me being apparently catlike and having an addiction to lasagne) who was wearing pyjamas and hugging his cuddly bear.

I remember this one time in the first year of university, I was freaking out over the workload and, in a run of bad luck, managed to get minor food poisoning from a sandwich that was probably expired. I went home for a few days and he came by with the only cuddly creature he could get on short notice- his university mascot. So I now have a mascot for a uni I didn't go to, and I treasure it.

I don't get to see him very often, but I call him every night (he's on PAYG and rarely tops up because he'd rather spend his money on other things - ie. games, clothes, shoes (sometimes even for me!!)) and no matter how tired he is, or if he's in the middle of a game, he'll talk to me for at least an hour about how I'm feeling and what I did during the day, and what went on in my flat. Several times, because I'm a night owl and he loves his sleep, he's drifted off as I'm talking to him, but he'll refuse to hang up. When I eventually convince him to go to bed, he'll tell me he loves me at least three times, and blow multiple kisses down the phone. Makes me feel like crying sometimes, but it's cute (:

Also, when I'm back home with him, he'll make me food or drinks if I'm too lazy (the kitchen's down two flights of stairs and through the pub), and no matter how nerdy he may want to be, he'll always offer me the TV first, or ask if I want to do something different.'

But I think by far the sweetest thing he ever did was on the 5th of March, 2010, when I came to him drastically upset because my dad had kicked me out of his house for some stupid, ridiculous reason. He listened to me, and stayed up with me until 11am the next morning until I smiled, then he kissed me for the first time as we fell asleep. The next day, he approached his mother (who isn't very nice to him, never mind to other people) and convinced her to let me stay with them, sacrificing half of his paycheck to ensure I had somewhere to stay.

OMG! i dont get gifts unless its a bday or xmas, i dont get a foot massage if i ask him he just pokes it once or twice then gives up, he moaned last night cos i asked him to make me a pot noodle, sometimes it feels like a chore when he ring me 2mins before he goes back to work on his lunch break, he has never bought me flowers even though he knows i love em except valentines day this year!), and when i ask him to cuddle me in bed he just says he cant sleep like that and ends up at other side of bed.
But thats just him and i dont mind (:

He tells me he loves me everyday though and i know he does which is good enough!

My h2b makes me feel special by doing all the little things, he makes me tea when I have uni work to do and lots of other times... he gives me massages when I'm tired and hurting all over from cramps, he leaves me nice little notes around and buys me chocolate to surprise me when I get out of lectures... and when I get tired, hormonal and grouchy he knows when I need fussing and attention, and when to leave me alone.

And he also has never tried to buy me flowers, because he knows I hate them! Been given them so many times, and while all my friends were all 'OH he so romantic!' but being a hayfever sufferer, I can get my fix of itchy eyes and swollen face and blocked nose for free, don't need a man to buy that for me, no ty!

Aw, h2b just sent me a text saying ''hiya babes, you brighten every day and make me look forward to coming home on an evening. You are perfect in every way. I love you with all my heart and i am sorry that i don't always show that xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ''

Bless him, i wonder what he wants :P

He makes me feel special by just loving me. He doesnt buy me things regularly and he moans a little when i ask him to do me a favour but he is makes me happy and that is good enough x

He tells me several times a day how much he loves me. After I had my eye removed cause of cancer my confidence hit a all time low but he still tells me how beautiful I am and how much he loves me. x
