We had met a few times through mutual friends at uni, then re-met on a night out a couple of years later... he cracked out the old classic "do you come here often?" line, to which i replied "not really, as i've moved to london and am just visiting!". Somehow we both managed to get over our hatred of small talk and several years later here we are. Happy as Larry! :)

we met 4 years ago playing poker in a pub. he taught me to play. he said could he cook me dinner once he moved into his new place but he got back with an ex and i got together with someone.

we both split up with our other halves and then got very drunk in his local pub and i ended up going back to his. we have never been apart since and now live in his flat xx

We 1st saw each other back in 92 on passin a was seeing someone else at the time (the father on my sons) he was going through his divorce and staying at his sisters, Never thought anything about it until 2008 when his sister intrduced him to all us friends on a night out, a couldn't quiet put my finger on why he amused me at the time each time he was able to make it out, Then in august 2010 he was sitting across the bar table from me and out the corner of my eye saw him watchin me very closely, found out he'd split with his partner of 17yrs (not married ), We got talking after that and on halloween 2010 we got together and engaged 29th dec 2010 due to marry 2012 :)

My ex took me to a NYE party at H2B's house. Me and my ex fizzled out as me and my H2b got closer and eventually he asked me out.

He turned up at my doorstep, was there to meet my housemate. I answered the door in my dressing gown!!! He tells me it was love at first sight!!! It took me almost 6 months to realise I liked him more than just a friend. We started dating 3 days before xmas 2007 and he moved in with me on the 5th January 2008!!! I then left to go travelling in February. In May he flew half way around the world to meet me and proposed on the beach 5 days later!!!!!
After a whirlwind start we slowed things down and now 4 years later we will finally be husband and wife.

We met 1 week after we both left secondary school at his sister's 21st birthday. I was only invited as my friends' mum (who was also a family friend of H2B) was sick, so to keep her company she invited me. So it was only a chance meeting which involved me putting lipstick on him and offically starting "going out" a week later, although we were holding hands, and seeing each other every day pratically (or every weekend while we were at Uni). We are now getting married next June on our 10 year anniversary :D

We met through a friend in a nightclub in Swansea. I didn't know who he was when I saw photos of him on my camera the next day. Our friend told him my name, he found me on Facebook. We didn't speak to each other, then he started playing Mafia Wars and sending me things so we started talking through that. We went for a coffee and instantly clicked. My h2b seemed to know my family for years but i never met him until i was 19 and he was 34. My friends dad bought a pub and i started going in there when i was 17 (obv drinking cola) i never met him once but used to speak to his dad as he had worked with my dad for years i didn't know him apart from in the pub. H2B had been bad ways years ago and (he was a heroin addict clean for 10 years now!) he had worked with his and my dad at the time and my dad had to bail him out of trouble a few times anyway his dad told me to tell my dad that he had got married and sorted himself out, i remember sayin to him is he good looking your son then 2 years later i was in said pub with my friend and her boyfriend i had gone behind the bar to change the cd and he walks in and asks for a pint of carling. i wasnt working there and told him so and he asked what i was doing behind the bar i ended up serving him and got quite a queue i fancied him straight away but i knew he was married anyway we spoke all night after i found out he had split from wife a month before and we were inseperable ever since we moved in after 4 months together and now getting married. my biggest fear was telling my dad but he accepted it and expressed what a lovely guy my h2b was and ive never looked back x

My H2b went to high schoolwith my best friend. We had met each other several times but never really got chatting (both seeing other people at the time)

A few years later one of my friends was having a Drs and nurses themed 21st birthday party. He used some cheeky chat up line (can't really say on here lol) it made me laugh and we got chatting, have been inseperable since. That was 5 1/2 years ago

We both moved to Japan to work. Within a month of meeting (and many, many karaoke nights!) we started dating :D

We met online, Id been up for hours with my little girl and it was still only 5am, and he'd just landed after working away for a few weeks so was trying to keep awake. We talked all day and then emailed constantly for 6 weeks, whereupon he eventually drove to see me - he lived in Stoke and me in Hull, and then we saw each other weekly, he moved in 6 months later in the december and here we are now...Id like to say its been easy but it hasnt. It has been worth it though.

We met online - I only went onto this particular site because a male friend of mine wanted me to see what his then girlfriend was doing as he couldnt trust her and thought she was seeing someone else behind his back, so asked me if i could check on this guys profile and see if there was any messages from her, well this guy was my h2b, I left a message in his saying ' hi Colin passing through , nice piccys. Claire ' He replied back the same day with ' Thanks Claire you have some lovely piccys - you will be snapped up by some lucky guy soon enough.' : ) from then on we were chatting a couple of times a day, we talked on the phone once a day, it was strange, our paths could have crossed a couple of times in our lifetimes, we both were at the Simple Minds concert in 1986 - only differnce was i had a long coach trip and parted with money for a ticket, whereas Colin lived around the corner and at the time there was no one to stop you climbing the fence so that is what he did, then again in 1997 i was staying with my dad and step mother in Southsea, watching the runners doing the south run on the sea front - turns out Colin was one of those runners! so after a few months we met, at the time I lived in Southampton and he Northampton. The moment he walked in the door I knew that this was it, as corny as that sounds, he said he pretty much felt the same way, within a few weeks we were talking about moving in with each other, I didnt need to hesitate, I sat my girls down and said what Colin and I were thinking of and did they think it was a good idea, they couldnt wait to move. A year later I moved my twins and myself up to Northampton to be with him. So looking back to that first online message, he is the lucky guy.

Met online end of Jan, met Feb 16th at Plymouth train station. I was shaking like a leaf all day as I knew I liked him. We just hit it off as we had a similar sense of humour and both had same ideas on life. We were friends for many months and became a couple Oct 13th. Very short version.
