Me and h2b met on the bus. We have known each other for about 6 years now and i used to live on a bus route. I used to get my h2b's bus (cos he is a bus driver) quite alot and we was only friends to start of with as we were both married already. I had already split up with my ex hubby and h2b was going through a bad patch with his ex wife and both ex's were doing the same thing so it gave us something to talk about. I had been split from my ex for about a year and he had been split from his ex for 3 weeks when we got together and been together ever since xx

We met in school, shared geography and science lessons but thought he was completely way out of my leage (he was in with the popular lads). He asked me to go to the prom with him as a friend but i said no (wanted more than a friend). We then arranged days out with all of our mates but they all backed out leavig us two, we decided to bike it to clumber anyway. After the bike ride we settled under om trees and i was playing with this stick, and then ended up arguin over it (i still have the stick on the bedside cabinet). Sun was setting and we as admiring the colours in the sky, and somehow ended up cuddling in the leaves. Was the best day ever. Noone would believe us the next day at school that we were an item. It was ever so funny, they were whispering and coming over to us to figure out what was going on. We been together ever since. :)

Pete and I had known each other for a few years as friends of a friend. We didn't much like each other though. I thought he was an arrogant a** and he thought I was a stuck up know it all. However his gf at the time really didn't like me (even though we'd never said more than two words to each other) so when he suspected she was cheating he decided to start talking to me (it's nice to be used :-/). This lasted about a week. After that we didn't really talk at all. I had a really bad time towards the end of 2005 and it all came to a peak 07.01.2006. Then 08.01.2006 Pete text me out of the blue asking if he could come over (he knew nothing of what had happened the previous months) He turned up that evening and we spent the night talking about everything (he talked about his split with his ex a week before christmas and I talked to him about what I had been up to), and he ended up sleeping on the spare bed. The next morning he went to work and I thought I would never hear from him (I had ended up telling him about all my troubles, so thought I'd scared him away). However I came home from work and he was parked outside. He stayed that night too and basically never left, we were just f**k buddies to begin with who were very close and practically lived together, we both saw other people at times but then a few months down the line Pete charmingly said "We might as well be a couple really" and that was it. Moved in together last year got engaged December. :-D Life is good. Cx

I was feeling very lonely one xmas after a big split from my ex. After persuasion Ieventually went out with friends and met h2b on Christmas Eve in a pub, he split two pints over me and it started from there, 6 and quarter years later we live together and are getting married.....and who said romance was dead.

We started talking online in a chat room and hit it off really well. (He was my pillow lol) I had just split with ex and so had he. We both went out with friends in jan 08 (Seperately) and told each other what we looked like just in case we bumped into each other. Saw this guy across the room and knew it was him so texted and asked and sure enough it was, the rest is VERY good history ;-)

Another geeky one I'm afraid! I saw my h2b on my friend's myspace page, and just thought "oh there he is"! I sent him a message, we spent a week or so talking on msn, then met up - that was 3 and a half years ago.

It was odd really, I wouldn't normally have contemplated meeting someone on the internet, and I still don't know why I was so sure just from his picture :) I guess I'm shallow :P

Met mine at a la roux gig... was sposed to be goin with a "friend" but she cancelled as she got too drunk the night before... but seeing as I'd paid for the tickets I decided I was gonna go regardless! lol

A friend from school lived by his , i went round to hers quite often and thats where i met him.

After being increasingly unhappy in my marriage and separating, my daughter enrolled me onto Facebook. I made lots of new friends..one of whom was Russell. We were just friends having lots of banter and chatting now and again. I went on holiday to Spain with some friends and to visit my parents. I remarked it would be strange being in Spain, the country Russ lived in, and not being able to chat as my parents had not got the internet.
I visited my parents who had funnily enough just got a laptop and connection to the internet. I asked could I check my emails and my facebook and Russ was online. He was shocked and pleased I had contacted him and hoped I was having a good holiday and we would chat when I returned to the UK.
On returning to the UK I went on my Facebook and Russ was there online again. I didn't want to appear too pushy so I waited a while and then just said hi. I told him i loved my time in Spain and couldn't wait for my next holiday. He then said " well why don't you come here? I have 2 bedroomed apartment, we get on really well, we will have a laugh and a really good time" i asked was he serious and he said of course. I thought "what the hell" I looked for flights and texted him to say I hoped he was serious because I had booked a flight and was coming to see him in a fortnights time. he was really pleased.
We continued to chat online over the fortnight and we both could tell the relationship was changing. We were becoming very close.
The day of the flight arrived and he met me at Malaga airport. it was as if we had known each other for ever We had an amazing 5 days and he asked me to come back quickly. I went back and forth to Spain for quite some time when he asked me to come to live with him. It wasn't difficult as we were very much in love. Of course I missed my children and grandchildren but webcams and the internet are marvellous.
Due to the economic downturn in Spain work dried up and we both made the decision to return to the UK in February of this year.
We had discussed marriage and knew we would one day... then Russ just said ." Your task for this week is to arrange a wedding" I didn't need asking twice.
We are on a VERY tight budget so I am doing most things myself..not even sure we can afford a cake or photos or table decorations or?? the list is endless of the things we cannot afford lol but ebay and family and friends have rallied round. OK it won't be the big lavish celebration..but Russ and I will be married just the same and everyone we love and care about will be there to celebrate with us ..which is priceless.

I meet mine on facebook! 1st date, he took me to the woods for a walk, in the dark :S Were planing to get married on the day we started going on 20th sept! Wehn we get married it b 6 years together! :)

we met on bank holiday monday 25th august 1997 at a pub called time and place, he came home with me to my flat with my friend and her bf, he said he'd come up on the sunday but never did i walked round like a zombie and a love sick puppy.

my friend who'd been with us that night told me her bf had told her that david had told him to tell her to tell me to ring him lol i did 3 times and left a msg each time but never heared anything bac, so i told her and she told him and he told her to tell me he'd come up on the monday............and he did lol the rest is 14+yrs history.

his best mate since told me he was like he was gunna kill himself that i hadnt rung him (as the msgs didnt get passed on) x

I met my H2B at a Speedway meeting the day after i came back from Repping in Tenerife.....he was with my really good friends neighbour and at first we both thought they were a couple, but then a few days later my friend texted me to say it was her neighbours BROTHER lol, and could he have my number and msn address......we met up 6 weeks or so later (as he rudely decided to injure himself in a motorbike accident) and since then we've never been apart. we met on myspace was friends for ages never spoke he sent me a message one night we spoke for 30 mins and then met up that night for a date hit it of straight away found we had the same bad taste in music going through his cd collection (hanson mmmbop) lol and been together for over 4 years now have 2 beautiful daughters and are very happy :)

We met in 2008, I had just started university and I joined the christian union straight away to meet other students who were also christians. I wasn't looking for a relationship at the time, I had split up with someone a year before and it had been very painful and I had needed a lot of time to heal. I had even said to God that it would be okay if I never got married, if that was what he wanted. Anyway, the christian union had events planned for the whole of freshers week and I went along to the first and met Michael. He stood out to me straight away, but I didn't really chat to him. After a few weeks of seeing one another in group setting he asked if he could come round to my flat to see my guy flat mates that he knew from the year before. I invited him round thinking they were in and realised they had gone out. We ended up staying up and chatting the whole night. I knew the next morning that I had met someone very special and phoned my mum straight away to tell her. A few weeks later he asked my dad's permission to court me and then June 2010 he asked me to marry him. He's so wonderful and I'm so blessed to be sharing the rest of my life with him :)
