I feel like I am having many different themes added together. My colour scheme I chose because its my favourite colours and h2b didnt object. I am incredibly flash happy, so am having almost a photo thing theme (photo booth, cameras on tables, photo guest book, cut out head board). Im also incorporating lots of silhouettes as I love them. So perhaps I can change that from a photo theme to an image theme to include that.

I wanted big fairy tale wedding.

I asked my SIL to pick a colour and she chose purple.

I then found my bridesmaids dresses and because they were a dark purple i decided princess fairytale didnt really go with dark purple so still wanting something delicate i chose butterflies.

We are having a Black and White Wedding as me, H2B and our families are big Rugby League fans and we all support Hull FC (the black and whites). Roses are my favourite flower and i adore red roses but we have another rugby team in Hull, Hull KR, who are our arch enemies and they are the red and whites so a red and white wedding was a huge no no lol. x x x

We went eclectic, which is what we're like.

For the colours, I wanted my dress to be red and white (symbolising the union between male and female, plus the cultures we come from) but my favourite colour is purple so we added that in too with the BM dresses.

We also wanted a fae theme so we got table crystals to look like dewdrops and butterflies for the wedding cake (also some edible glitter to add some sparkle).

Then, just to show our geekdom, our cake topper is a pair of Daleks dressed like a bride and groom. Hehe.

I "fell" into my theme of butterflies by searching different styles of invites and came across the ones i will hopefully go for.
Then I realised that it was perfect as i love butterflies!
I originally wanted purple as my theme colour, now i'm thinking black and pink (cerise/hot) but will probably change my mind again!
