    omg i have just been browsing threw for a nice but different garter i found one that i really liked so went to web site it was off and the price is $175 thats £108 what makes them think they can charge this much its not made of bloody gold!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    looks like you could add that decoration to a plain garter yourself! thats a ridiculous amount of money, my dress is only costing £170

    Thats a lovely garter, but definitely overpriced. Like panther said, why dont you get a plain one and decorate? If you arent particularly crafty you could see if you know anyone around you who is?

    i am defo not payin that much i wouldnt even pay it if i was a million air well i prob would lol.
    av just seen a few others though that are alot cheaper so gunna go for ones of these instead. i just dont get how they can justify that amount of bloody money :@ xx

    i getting a plain one and adding some decoration myself, including my sixpence which is on a short length of chain so will hang down like a charm :)

    Wow, £108 for a garter? Mine was £20 and I thought that was expensive, but it is silk. There's no way I'd spend that much on a garter!

    I can see a DIY opportunity here, I bet you could raid the haberdashery and make a gorgeous one for next to nothing. And you could have whatever colours/ decorations/ lace you wanted.

    There are several websites with some good diy instructions, i've just had a quick google. xxx

    oh that's a shame, don't be disheartened, practice makes perfect! I might give it a go. If it all goes wrong i may well give up, but a few pounds spent having a go is definitely worth it. xx

    the 3 together are not that expensive
    the first one is £13.13
    the 2nd one is £10.73
    the third one is £22.21

    1 and 2 are just one garter number 3 comes with a smaller one if u want that u can throw. x

    i just read this havnt heared it before till today either lol

    apparently hubby takes it off while your sat on a chair (stripper music playin in background) and then throws it to all the single men and who ever catches it is supposed to be the next one to get married lol. no u dont get it bac thats why u can have 2 if u want.

    Yeah just did some google-ing. apparently the man who catches it puts it on the leg of the girl who caught the bouquet. Sounds fun but i don't think i have enough guests to do this with xx

    You can make your own with a little elastic and some pretty ribbn and lace. You can either use a sewing machine or do them by hand.
