Hi all, I've got 2 flowergirls who are 4 years old and just looking for hair inspiration, both have hair about shoulder length I think, not sure if I should just go with an alice band or maybe put some flowers on a hair comb and have it on the side or at the back with half up half down hair?
What are you all doing?

My little girl has past waist length hair and she wants spiral curls and flowers in her hair.I am hoping to get her a bit of a hair trial over easter as with her hair being so long i have never been able to get the curls to hold very well.Maybe the hairdresser will get on better. I think with 4 yr olds simplicity and staying power are key. They won't want to sit still for ages and definitely won't want anything that pulls.Whatever you put in their hair if they can feel it they will fiddle with it so make sure its secure or indestructable-real flowers for instance i can imagine would just be stalks by the time the service was over! xxx

My flower girls are two at the moment, one soon to be three and one three in July, and neither have much hair! Well they do but it's sort of whispy and chin length. I'm waiting to see how it grows but I'm going to avoid clips. One of them has a habit of deliberately taking them out and pretending they've fallen out so somebody has to redo her hair! Maybe an alice band though not 100% sure yet.

Mine will be 9 and 11 so slightly older and the girls want curls in their hair which i thought they would. So we mare having curled hair and the sides pulled back so not in their face with slides that have red flowers on them to match the colours...

my 9 year old is having loose curls as she has fairly long hair but it is pretty unruley so we will see how it goes i've bought them head bands with a diamante butterfly on. the 2 nearly 3 year old will just be brushed and straightened (if needed) and then the head band put in

my flowergirl is 5 and has hair down to just below her shoulders. Her hair really doesn't curl well, it falls out within an hour or so and ends up looking straggly so we've decided on her having a messy bun. It should look really pretty and I've got her a beautiful pearl and crystal headband with a flower on it to wear (thanks to a lovely lady from the swap shop!)

my girls are having it up in buns with pearl and rhinstone twists in there hairs they have really long hair and would love for them to have it down but it gets reall knotty after an hour or so and would need it doing again later in the day plus my youngest as a funny shape head so headbands don't fit right x

Hi ladies i was just wondering if you could give me some advice, My FG's (2) are having their hair in 2 french plaits. And im wanting to incorporate daisies into the plaits some how. Do you know what type of daisies (artifical) that i can use for their hair. I also thought about hair spirals. Can anyone help? Please

What about finding hair slides with daisies on them? Easy then to just slide them in where you want them xx

You can ask your florist to eerie up some real ones to use, or buy some silk flowers and write them yourself maybe? Try somewhere like Country Baskets for the fake flowers :-)

I'm thinking of curling their hair with rags. Will have to do a trial but hopefully can wet her hair first thing in the morning and roll it up then undo shortly before ceremony.

My little girl is having a french plait across the top of her head (from ear to ear) we have tried incorporating gypsophelia and other flowers into the plait but the things that work best are the spirals. They are going into the centre of the plait and then the rest of her hair will be down in spiral curls to her waist. We tried rags Katie,i am not sure if she has too much hair or what but my daughter looked like she had been electrocuted and we couldn't do anything with it except wash it and smother it in conditioner to get the tangles out lol1 xxx

Our FG will only be 3 and at the moment doesn't have much hair, well, she has wispy hair so not sure if it'll be thicker and longer by then. I want her to just wear a pretty alice band anyway with small red flowers in it to match the colour scheme. xx

I'll have to have a play. Unless its curled then put in a messy bun, her hair is poker straight so needs something doing to it. Can always curl it and if it looks crap put it up quickly.

My sisters 3 FG's on the day all just had alice bands and hair clips in their poker straight hair! She only wanted the hair clips but her interferring unclassy irritating MIL insisted on them having the alice bands too!!!! xx

Mine are not really flowergirls as they will be 9yrs, 8yrs & 6yrs but I saw this and fell in love with it!!! Its classic, simple & pretty quick for the hairdresser as she then has my sis MOH, Mum and me to do, all before a 1pm wedding!

my youngest will be 16mths and has hardly any hair at all, so can't do anything with it. my 2yo will have just turned 3 and she has beautiful, long hair. i think i''m just going to have her hair down. she'd take out anything i put in and her hair is gorgeous down anyway :)

My flower girls are wearing Alice bands because they are only 2 and 3 years old.
CommentAuthorLisaM80
i cant decide either, i have 4 flower girls who are all 2 ( i have twin daughters and twin nieces, born 2 months apart) there is no way they will keep it in if i try and do anything fancy so im thinking either alice bands or or clips with a flower on. that way they can easily be put back when they inevitably pull them out lol x x
