How do you fit planning a wedding into a hectic lifestyle. I am a mum to 3, full time job and an AVON team leader (not that I will comlain about the AVON job, its paying for my wedding). I dont findtime to sitat the PC very often and miss so many different offers, does anyone know of any web sites other than Ebay or Amazon or social network sites that has useful tools to help me with the planning of our dream wedding. Many thanks in advance

I agree! I'm marrying in sept and have nothing sorted! I dont know where to begin and find it quite daunting and if I could afford a wedding planner I'd happily have one!! Any offers?? Haha x

If you decide on a venue like a hotel etc, a lot of them now have wedding co-ordinators who help to organise everything from flowers to stationery, guest rooms and catering - a lot of my friends have gone for this option and have said the wedding almost takes care of itself - our venue however, isn't a hotel and has a co-ordinator but is more there for on the day etc, so I've had the joy of arranging separate caterers, event staff, band, toastmaster, florist, stationery, transport etc but to be honest once you've got a list it isn't really all that daunting :-)

Plus our wedding is in Liverpool where I'm from but we live in Bristol - so we just make sure to send emails and arrange meetings for weekends when we can travel up - so you can work it around a full time job x

Jude, i have pretty much planned all of my wedding whilst working in Afghanistan!! Not easy, but if you split it down in to bite size managable chunks then things wont seem so daunting and you can get to work then...

Our wedding was all planned for april 2011 but after one thing or another we postponed and then postponed again!
Our date is now 1/11/15 and I have a huge list of everything we would like to have on our day and a big calender of every month between now and the wedding paying each thing off at a time all the while, while paying off the venue at the same time!
This is a HUGE relief for us as we are getting exactly what we want for our day and out of our day without having to worry about the finances and we havent had to cut back on our everyday lifes either which is great as we have 3 kids who just wouldnt understand that they cant have this that and the other because we have a wedding to save for.................this way we are managing to do both without the kids going without something they would normally have!

I worked out that this month my shoes will be paid off so I can finally put them on when they come hehehe next month my napkin rings and glass charms will be paid off which means I can finally start paying for my jewellery which is being specially made for me to match a watch I fell in love with CAN'T WAIT!!!
And its something I would never have been able to afford if the wedding wasnt so far away
