We orderd our save the dates on 21st Jan and where told they would be ready in 10 days, the shop only opens Fridays and Saturdays so the women said she would ring me when they were ready. I spoke to her yesterday and she said that they still werent ready and they will be done by Saturday the latest, which will be 3 weeks from when we ordered them.! We already orderd them quiet late as it is so i was really looking forward to getting them and sending them out as soon as possible, i know its only another week but it soo annoying and now my h2b doesnt want to get our invitations from there because he says they are mucking us about, but they are the cheapest place ive found for what i want. xx

I must admit, I was thinking I've left it late for the STD's although they are all done and printed sat in a box ready to go, just waiting for H2B to come home next week as he wanted to post them together. For us, although it seems a usual thing, it's really a big deal for us, so we'll be posting and we're going for a spot of lunch and a little pat on the back!
It is frustrating though, I often wonder if I expect too much, but I like to think I'm pretty good at prioritising, so it must be everyone else that is not as good as I am. My florist took over a week and a half to spray my wedding tree after saying it would only be a couple of days, in heinsight it's another thing I should have just done myself! lol

I got mine ages ago when we first set the date and then it took me until Christmas to actually send them all out lol.

We're not having them. We've told most people when it is and it's sooo easy to remember. Added to that we've still not finalised the guest list. If you get a save the date it kinda implies you're invited to the wedding and we don't know if we want you there yet.

Lol MzEden! We're only sending them out to those who we are definitely inviting to the wedding and wedding breakfast... and any of those invited to the evening reception are welcome to come see us in church as well, we just can't accomodate everyone for the meal!

I'm sending my save the date cards out 9or 10 months before but they shouldn't have created a problem for you sending yours out. You'll be sending invites out not to far in the future so you need the date cards ASAP - get on their case that's not on! x

I told them to phone me as soon as they are ready she has said Saturday the lastest so im going to get there early and catch the last post so people get them Monday. We are planning to send the actual invites out at the end of April so we've got about 4 months, 2 months for everyone to reply and then 2 months for me to finalise everything. xx
