I'm thinking of doing this. get up with about 6 hours sleep the day before the wedding, then it'll help me sleep the next night a bit better!

I've been worrying about this too, we'll more than likely have jetlag and i can just see me pacing the bedroom the night before and then being tired and ratty the day of the wedding. Can't have a lie in if i wanted to either as hair and make up people coming at 8am so will have to be up showered, breakfasted and ready for them quite early. Like you i can sleep when i've had a drink, but really don't want to be hanging on my wedding day....................Think i might get H2B to hit me over the head (which he'll probably do gladly as he can sleep through anything at any time and i'll probably be bugging him if i can't sleep lol) x

ladies.... Do NOT take any vallium or Sleeping tablebs the night before the wedding.. Vallium inparticular makes you wake up feeling all cottonwooly.. (Not sure bout Sleepin tab...)

You wanna be bright eyed and bushy tailled on the most important day of your life, and having 3 hours is better than waking up feeling hungover.

I know......as i did it for my first marraiage 22 years ago

The adrenalin of the day will keep you going girls so don't worry about that. I don't sleep well with pain etc but when I'm having fun I don't realise how tired I am.

I'm dreading it too! Hardly sleeping at mo and we have 4 months to go! I'm waking up at about 4am and then tossing and turning thinking about weddings!

I think I'll just have a hot bath, watch some easy telly and have 1 glass of wine and then maybe read a magazine/book until I drift off and then hopefully stay asleep for as long as poss. But I agree with XjoX the adrenalin will keep us all going!

I think we are all in the same boat....all nervous and will be running through timings and events etc but try and go to bed early (easier said than done) as it will be a long day. Im worried too as im staying in the hotel the night before and its apparently haunted... I am NOT going to sleep for two nights.... OMG. I know im being silly but I am really anxious lol.
