Hi, Does anyone know any hotels with their own chapel in or around Birmingham. I have already had 2 church weddings (greedy I know lol) but my fiance has never been married and he wants a church wedding, I really do not think any church would marry me again, but if we had a hotel chapel we could have a blessing.

Yes! We are getting married at bosworth hall hotel which is a beautiful country house hotel and it also has a very pretty church inside the grounds. You have a choice of getting married in the church as its open to all even if you don't live there or in a choice of rooms in the hall. We are having a civil wedding in the hall and then popping over to the church for a blessing before going back to the venue for dinner and drinks.

They do a package in which you get your flowers for the rooms, three course dinner, room for the night, evening buffet, tea, coffee and chocolates, cake stand and cake knife engraved, red carpet on arrival, toast master and DJ. They cater for small intimate wedding to large numbers and also do discounts if your wedding is out of the june/july/august. We are getting married next Sept and get 20% off.
    Hope that helps.

Ta for your info, we will definately be looking into it especially as H2b wants to get married around his birthday in December 2011. Bosworth Hall does seem to be the only hotel in the area with a chapel.

They are having a wedding fair there on November 14th! I'm going to be there as I've not seen the hall set up for a wedding yet and the florist who does the flowers for the tables etc (part of the package and she does them to your colours and you get to choose what you have) is going to be there as well. Also the venue have pretty candelabras you can use for free for table centerpieces and you can then use the flower budget from the package to have bigger displays around the room etc.The church St Peters is really pretty. I will upload some photos if you want. I've also got the number if you want to talk to Sheila about arranging either a wedding or blessing there.

We got a free upgrade to the Talbort suite. Its nice because we have everything in one venue. They are also pretty flexible to work with. The country house, church, hotel etc etc. There is a beautiful walled garden with a little stream and bridge which makes for stunning photos.

Good luck with it, hope you find the perfect place. Have you been and spoken with any vicars? I know you have your doubts but marriages usually break for good reasons and the church is a lot less formal than it used to be? If you can find a vicar to give you a blessing then you can probably find one to marry you.

    I'm now a married woman
    I have a gorgeous husband
    Whats to do now
Theres no more wedding planning to do

I know that Bosworth is an open church and they are pretty relaxed. A blessing is also free they just ask for a donation. If you want the bells etc then we have just paid £305 for the bells, choir and organ. The blessing is the same as a wedding but without the legal side of it and it takes about 45 minutes. If you add me as a friend I will email you Shela's number so you can ask her if they would marry you. Your page is restricted so I can't send you a message.

Have you managed to get all the info you need or not? If not I will mail you the contact details etc. Have you looked into Bosworth at all? Depending on the month you want which it looks like you fall into it they are doing 20% off at the moment.
