Is anyone having a hotel package wedding or has anybody had one cos I've found 2 really cheap deals and just wondering wether or not it's a good idea or if they're cheap for a reason can someone enlighten me please x
Cheap doesnt always mean it will be rubbish read reviews online for the venues you have seen x

Yeah I think we are as all my family are traveling in from Norway for the wedding. It all depends on what they include etc on price, not quite sure what youre asking here though :/

Huni i think you have to make your question clearer .....alot of brides on here are having packages me included .....
what is cheap for one person is expensive for another
We are getting married at a hotel. It does wedding packages at £3999. We would have had that as it includes everything. Only problem was that it only catered for 50 day guests and up to 80 night guests. My imediate family alone total 44 guests. All the others i've seen are pretty much the same (Guest numbers wise). But i think if you can fit the numbers then they are a great thing to go for. x
Ours started out at a £2000 package but by time i was done adding and changing it is now a £4000 package. I think if there were anything wrong with the hotels packages they would have no booking and i know ours for 1 is now fully booked next summer from may till october

Hi.. we have gone for a package deal in a golf club - its abso beautiful and the scenery is amazing! we have got it for what we think it cheap lol but it depends on what peoples budgets are, some may find it expensive or some may find it cheap, honestly you go with what YOU want and CAN afford. It could be cheap and be beautiful aslong as you and your h2b are getting married im sure nothing else matters :-)

I've got a great package with the hotel we are having our do at. Its costing £999 for a wedding breakfast for 50, evening do for 80, DJ, colour co-ordinated room, discount for guest rooms and the bridal suite for the night. They are only charging an extra £10 a head for any extra people we want to invite for the evening do too so think we've got a really good deal and the hotel is very popular. Its in Blackpool

a hotel our way does a £999 package for 40 guests it does seem basic but if you upgrade to £1399 you get extra guests, chair covers, drinks, more food choice etc. we did look at doing it but our biggest concern was that it seemed very impersonal in that because most stuff was provided for you there wasn't much room for the bride and grooms personality to come out through it. Saying that we've now gone for a sort of pickandmix package at a nice inn/ pub who are very flexible and very affordable - especially as we were then able to negotiate an overall price and got some stuff thrown in free (like the bridal suite) and some stuff half price (disco) xxx

Sorry everyone should have been clearer but it's difficult cos don't think I'm allowed to put the names their 2 hotel chains on package is £2500 and the other is £2012 if you marry in 2011 I'm just worried that if the cost is low will it look like we've paid a small amount for the wedding cos I don't want ppl to know we're doing things on a budget especially as h2b sister spent nearly £20000 on her wedding x
Um u don't no my h2b's family they're very money motivated bad trait and one my h2b thankfully hasnt got lol I'm gona view both and take it from there got one brochure today and it does look lovely x
I am having my wedding at a hotel, it is cheaper then manor houses etc but it is a fantastic hotel and the staff bend over backwards to help and are so friendly, my best friend got married there years ago and said that she could not recommend it more it was fantastic so no cheap does not always mean bad :)
getting married on 29th June 2013
You cant please everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
love smillies :)
