Ok so I've been looking at other brides getting married and their pics and have noticed a lot have horse shoes etc hanging off them in the pics. At what point do you get them and who gives them you? How do you know that you will have someone to give you one (oooer that sounds wrong)

smaller children or even adults ususally give them to the bride when they come out of the church x

Yeah you usually get them given to you after you come out of the church or registrars. You dont know really if you will ge unless someone says they will be giving you a horseshoe but usually children tend to hand them to you. I know on our wedding day I didnt think I would get any at all but then one of our friends,her 2 girls presented me with 2 heart shaped things hanging from ribbon (out theme was hearts) outside the church when pics were being taken (see pic attached). Also one of our guests gave me a small horseshoe clip with a red heart on it to clip onto my bouquet before the wedding so I had good luck from when I set off to the church. xx

well i bought myself a little treat (in my pictures) a little horse shoe in blue and a lucky 6pence :) couldnt resist :D
so yeah hope that brings me luck on the day :)

after the ceremony alisha gave me a horse shoe and cam gave me a rolling pin,i was later given another 2 horse shoes and a chimney sweep lol
