Why dont I find the seller of mine and put on your wall and you randomly email them pretending to want to buy one and send a pic and see what they say.
Think my last hoop is near my ankle xxxx

I dont believe the length of the hoop has to touch the floor. The hoop goes out width ways to make fuller and also to take some of the weight and also to not make your legs etc hot.

i think its ankle hight - when I tried my dress on in the shop she put me in a hoop and it came to my ankle. I'm tall so i just assumed it was too short but she said it was fine. My hoop arrived from China (good old bay of e) today and it comes to the same height so I assume its ok!

What kind of dresses do you wear a hoop with? I haven't even thought about it, do you think I will need one with my dress?

Hjl2001uk i would suggest you should get a hoop, otherwise you wont get that full look at the bottom.

It doesn't start to flare out till quite low down tho. Do they do hoops just for the very bottom? I don't want a big princess skirt.

I got mine on ebay too. Depends on the size of your heels. mine had a lycra waist band though I could alter the length by pulling it up or down until it looked right.

Just check the diameter when getting one and go for a smaller one if you dont want it going out too wide

my dress is similar to that one, and I've got a single hoop petticoat - it doesn't give you a huge skirt but it just shapes the bottom so its not falling too close to your legs xx
