So me and H2B have been looking at honeymoons online, or at least trying too, and all the sites we've looking on like TC and FC aren't very easy to get around and it's stressing me out! So please can you lovely ladies (i think you'll have to e-mail me or post of my wall) where you're going and who did you book with please! which travel agent are the best??? please help!

we've been looking at dom. rep mainly possibly cuba, we don't mind just somewhere nice and far away and warm with things to do :) i think you might be right hun to pop in and have a chat might make things a lot easier hehe.

we went with Th***sons and they are the other company linked to FC. I dont know if the site is easier to navigate? But get prices from the web and in store and see if they can do a good deal.

We went with Kuoni who were really helpful, we got a 15% discount too by umming and aahing - I went to TC and felt like it was just a package holiday not a honeymoon, he was trying to get us on charter flights etc and ignored what I was asking for completely! My friend used Destinology too who were really good too apparently - you could always try these places for ideas then go and book your own separately if you prefer?

I always get a quote online with companies like TC and FC, but then I use a different company to book, as they specialise in the Caribbean, price-match online quotes, and are just much more helpful in my experience than the bigger companies.

Finding holidays online shouldn't be difficult; go to the holidays tab, select your destination, departure airport, and dates, and then see what results come up. I then click on the ones that interest me (eg that are within budget and look nice) and read a bit more about them, check out the photos etc, and then shortlist about 5. These properties I then research more on review sites, to see how well rated they are, and if I think they will suit our needs.

I've been to Cuba twice and stayed all over, and if you do Cuba, I would suggest a twin-centre with a few nights in Havana, as IMPO Havana is a must-see.

I've also been to the DR, and we're going back again in June/July; we've booked a property called the Gran Bahia Principe Esmeralda, the rooms are beautiful with 4-poster beds and jacuzzi baths, and 24 hour room service, plus full mini-bar, we can eat at a la carte restaurants every night if we wish, inc a choice of 3 adult's only ones, we have access to 4 pools, inc a small adult's only jacuzzi pool, and so on; we were at another resort on the complex in 2008 and it is immaculate: very clean with beautiful grounds and a gorgeous beach. We've paid £1180 pp which includes private transfers and choice of seats on the plane.

I can also recommend Mexico; we've been 3 times and it's great, but tends to cost out a little more for the better resorts.
