Does anyone know of any online honeymoon fund pages where people can donate to our honeymoon? We don't know where we're going yet until after the wedding when we've seen how much we've raised to see where we can go at short notice.

    Thanks!

I looked into this once but think someone said that you have to pay for the privilege and would be better off either getting travel vouchers or cash

I heard that some travel companies offer their own fund pages and don't use these charges.

I read something about this on martin's money that warned you that some sites charge quite a bit for each transaction your guests make so you end up losing out. Can't remember exact names of sites but maybe worth searching for the article or just be careful and make sure you read all the small print before you sign up. x

Just remembered I think one of my work friends did it through a paypal account, not sure if they had to pay to do it. I'll check and get back to you all.

AmberG30 - you might get a little slap on the wrist for putting a link as they aren't meant to be in the threads, just thought I would let you know :) x

Do some of the big firms not do one? I'd be concerned with going with a smaller firm as a lot of travel firms have been going bust lately - not sure what would happen t your gifts if that's the case? Xx

There is a feature though gettingmarried online wedding websites, you do have to pay for it though, but i don't think it takes a cut of the money. Otherwise could'nt you just have a savings account and let people have the details? x
