Well thanks to the generosity of our guests we were able to book out honeymoon on Sunday afternoon for the 1st of December :D

We are heading back to the Dominican Republic were we have been for the last two years and love it, its a bit like a second home now lol

Because the weather was so crap on saturday, I was thinking that we could have a professional shoot on the beach...

Question is.... do I take my dress if I can?? or do I just buy a white maxi dress?

I think it depends on your dress. If it's lightweight and will travel well, go for it. If it's heavier, personally I'd just bring a white maxi dress. I've seen a few weddings abroad and some brides look super-uncomfortable in their dresses as they're just not right for the climate. I also think that certain styles just wouldn't look right in a beach/resort context, I think flowing dresses work much better personally.

Yes, if you want pics in your wedding dress, take it and ask your hubby to take his suit - or, if you want a more casual dress, take more casual outfits for your photos - they're your memories so do what you will!

And congrats on the honeymoon booking!

Remember that sand stains! If you are going to use your original dress, then bear that in mind if you want to keep it pristine/sell it afterwards.
I think if it were me, I'd get a nice maxi dress. C0@st do a lovely one - Allure - actually, they do a lot of nice clothese full stop LOL!
