I was wondering if anyone had set up a Honeyfund as part of their gift registry. Just been having a chat with Ross and realistically there is no way we can afford a Honeymoon.
If you've done one then how successful has it been?
    Any help welcome
    xxx

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

We are looking at doing what my mum calls a "wishing well" which is basically the same thing. I like the idea of travel vouchers, but we are also looking at having some of the gift money towards honeymoon spending, so we can get some nice momentos. xx

We are having a christmas wedding so (Steves idea) we are having a chirstmas stocking hung behind the top table so guests can put in envelopes with donations towards a honeymoon. We dont want people to feel they have to put lots in so its anonymous blank envelopes and whatever they can spare. xx

I personally don't like the idea of gifl lists, or honeymoon donations.. But... lots of people do them and from what i've heard some are great and the couple get away for 2 weeks AI.. and sometimes people still have to save after to get 7 days SC/HB... So it depends on how much people are willing to give you, and how many guests, how much money the people have.. as attending a wedding can be expensive even before the gift/money...
So even if people come on and tell you theirs didn't get much, and others come in and tell you they got loads, you're still not gunna be sure how yours will turn out.. xx

we have asked for travel vouchers from a specific travel agent in our invites with a little poem and a leaflet with all the info, we don't need anything else as we have lived together for a while plus we are looking to move x
