Right, so my sister in law stole my idea of having a sweetie station, and her wedding is before mine. By the looks of things, all her sweeties are going to be boiled or individual wrapped ones inside jars and baskets.
To make mine different as I dont want to look like I have coppied her idea, my fiance and I have decided to make our own sweeties and have a willy wonka factory corner (idea came from having purple in our colour scheme).
Our ideas so far are:-
Giant cookies Giant candy lollies Tall sticks with marshmallows on Mini donuts Edible flowers and such like
...does anybody have any other ideas. They can be things we could buy, but mabe add to or change slightly.
Its going to be loads of fun :)

Edible flowers sounds fab!!! Can't remember where I saw this so apologies if it was on another thread on here but I read somewhere about a truffle tree! Could either buy or made truffles and pop them on sticks and then onto a central ball. The stem could be decorateed in ribbon from yuor colour scheme?
theres a new store in chester called suga cane though there will be others similar so not trying to advertise but the point im making is that I got a huuuuuuuge marshmellow from there the other day that would fit the theme perfectly. I dont have a link as not sure if its a chain or not but im sure if you find other little sweet shops then you may find similar. I think they were 1.25 each

yep its by the cross opposite that show shop.... whats it called? Theres a few of em dotted around chester all with different names so go take a look see, This one was a long pink marshmellow with white marshmellow inside. They also sell all the 80s/90s sweeties too!

Sounds ace, can I come! lol. What about a sweetie tree, can make them yourself or buy for about £15 - £20 each. You can have anything on them from marshmallows to popcorn, look awesome too! I would have bought some if I had seen them earlier, but already done all my sweets now so will have to buy them for a birthday party or something! :) x

Rum Truffles, there reasonably easy and quick to make, they can be in individual cases, or wrapped seperately, you can make them plain, rum, brandy, or my personal favourite has got to be the vodka ones. xxxx
