    Hey Guys,

Mum and I splashed out and bought a £300 laser hair removal thingy. I was really skeptical but I've now done it 4 times on my legs and I've got bald patches. I thought y'all might be interested so I'll keep up my progress on here and let you know how it goes. Bookmark this if you're interested!! I've epilated/waxed/shaved/veeted - I'm basically a hair removal junkie so I'm hoping this means I don't have to do any of that again!

I've got Boots Smooth Skin by iPulse. I will become a poweruser and upload pics (probs of my underarms because it's more obvious hair). So far:
    Legs - 4 treatments
    Under Arms - 3 treatments
    Upper Lip - 1 treatment.

Legs - Massive bald patch down the front and much sparser hair.
Under Arms - some bald patches adn some stubborn hairs.
Upper Lip - Even after 1 treatment most of the darker hairs have gone.

It's probably worth mentioning that I'm verrry pale (NW15 at MAC) with dark/red hair so I am the perfect candidate for the smooth skin system. There are loads of safety things, i.e. you can't use it during your period...but I have done - you're just supposedly more sensitive but having epilated...my pain threshold is fairly high!

You can put pics in your albums even if you are not a power user.

I have been thinking about getting one myself, but dont know that I could use it properly, I would be tempted to do it at every opportunity.

I have been thinking about getting one of these, its just their quite expensive and trying to save for the wedding is hard enough. See how your thread goes and I might make my own secret fund for one :) haha xx

I nearly bought one of them, until I read the small print and it said not suitable for those with PCOS! And you have to replace the head fairly often, which is quite expensive.

sounds like its working tho for ya! good luck. x

Each head lasts 10,000 shots which is more than enough to do 12 sessions on most of a body!! To replace the head is £160 I believe. I'm now a power user so will put up pics as my hair grows a bit for you to see the bald patches!! Jx

How is it going? I am currently having my underarms done professionally and am toying with the idea of having my bikini done but that will cost a further £200 so i am wondering if I should get a machine for the extra £100 so i can do my legs too but can't decide what to do. It is working really really well on my underarms.

I got one a month ago, and it only targets one hair at a time. I did it every night for about a week and didnt notice any difference. Maybe I need to carry it on, I just hate sitting there targeting one hair at a time! Arghhh

Well ladies, the lasering was going really well, down to about half hair on my underarms and legs are doing well. But I've just had 2 weeks in Spain and you're not allowed to use it 30 days before or after going in the sun. I'll be back in business in September with updates!! :D Jx

P.S Mine doesn't cover one hair at a time, it covers about 3cm squared at a time so much quicker! about 5mins to do armpits and 30mins to do legs! An hour does my whole body (bikini included!)
