    Hi Girls,

Had a MASSIVE change of heart, and have changed my mind from having a lacey dress, thats quite slim fitting, with a big lacey trail, to wanting a big princessy dress. My favourite of the princessy type dresses are the hollywood dreams ones, and was just wondering how much I am looking at to purchase one...roughly. I know it will obviously depend on length and detail etc, but thought someone might have one on here to give me an idea.

Also, has anyone ever had a replica of these dresses? I know the hollywood dreams dresses materials meant to be impeicble, so thought china ones would'nt be as great, just wondering how much of a difference there was.

    Thanks in advance...mwah xxx

    Hey there,
Well i was looking at the Caprice dress (which was unfortunatly discontinued at the start of this year, this was my dream dress) The dress would have cost £2695.00. I am now really dreading having to do the whole dress hunt again as every time i tried on a dress i always thought of Caprice :(

I guess i will just have to try on some more Hollywood Dream dresses :D

Also Mia has FB pages so you could ask her any questions on there too.

    Lou

hey a girl after my own heart!! i agree that the hollywood dreams dresses are simply outstanding!! my wedding has been brought forward so my budget is slashed theres no way il afford one. I posted a similar forum post a few weeks bak and most people said as the hollywood dreams dresses are top notch quality i doubt the replicas would do them must justice! i hace found some pre owned ones on ebay for alot cheaper tho! xxx

we fit together perfectly. . .like a jigsaw puzzle.

Nonnie, I think the look of it is the most important thing, not the quality of the material. Wish I could go to china and look at them lol.

I tried looking on ebay too, I know theyre cheaper, but wouldnt be as cheap as a replica would. I just want the details of the bodices and the massiveness of the skirt :) hehe xxx

Have you tried looking at ***************8? I have had a look at some of the dresses there and they look really good. I have not bought anything from them yet but a friend said i should have a look as they are good. All made to measure and good prices. I am hoping to get flower girl dresses from there as they look amazing and very very cute :D

it was because of the caprice dress that i then went on to have my dress made in pink, and it stood out so well

I had that same thought Tiggs. It never occured to me to have a pink dress until i tried on Caprice, then i fell in love :D I had originally went in to try on Nadine but the shop didnt have her in stock and let me try on a few of the Hollywood Dream dresses they did have incl Caprice

i didnt have a budget for my dress, mum told me shed top up what ever i wanted, but after bad experience in a bridal shop i got mine online, fell in love with the colour of caprice,so when i saw the design of mine i asked if i could have it in a similar pink ,i was thrilled with the result,it was everything and more that id dreamed of,and everyone said how different the colour was and how i stood out

For me the quality of the fabric is very important....I've noticed that there are a lot of Hollywood Dreams dresses for sale second hand though, so maybe that's an option?
