hi i went to a wedding fair at the holiday inn today, and im looking at a 2000 package, it includes red carpet, host, ceremony room hire, buck fizz reception for 30, canapes for 30, patio area for photos, three course wedding breakfast for 30, cake stand and knife, evening room hire with dj til 12, evening sandwich buffet for 100, accom for bride/groom.

do you think this is good? also iv got 60 guests for daytime not 30 and iv worked out thatl be an extra 750, so thats 2750.

we booked with Britannia hotel in Manchester for £999 but there's no dj included in price. but it's bucks fizz for 50ppl wedding breakfast for 50 ppl (3 courses) and evening buffet for 100. it's an extra £300 to have the ceremony there in the hotel. red carpet, cake stand and knife and they'll give you a memeber of staff to act a bit like an mc too included in the price.

that is well cheap! im paying 7k (2k of that is venue charge) for arrival drinks, 3 course meal, tea/coffee and toast drink for 70, evening buffet for 160. Chair covers, cake stand/knife etc all included also. so yeah £2,750 is good x
