That's a brilliant price. We're paying £2999 which includes - 3 course wedding breakfast for 40 guests White linen hire Table centre pieces DJ Wedding co-ordinator Master Of Ceremonies Bucks fizz for after the ceremony Wine for the meal Sparkling wine for the toasts Cake stand and knife Hot buffet on the night for 100 guests Bridal suite Breakfast the next morning And a complimentary meal for our 1st anniversary Phew......that was a long list lol x
We doint have final figures yet (we'll be getting those in two weeks!) but roughly it will cost between £3k & £4k we recon - thats for a ceremony suite, wedding breakfast suite and the reception suite. As well as the suites we get the 3 course meal or carvery for around 65 guests, each guest gets a glass of champagne on arrival and also half a bottle of wine with their meal, wedding coordinator, master of ceremonies and table linen. It seems expensive for what we get, but were paying for the location as well which we understand (tbf we thought it would be a hell of alot more!)

our ceremony venue is £1000, for the reception we dont pay for the room, just the food £26.00 a head in the day and £12.00 a head in the evening. The food is costing £2590 altogether, this includes linen, an mc, red carpet a free drink and a few other things. £999 seems good. If you are trying to get a bargin check what it includes. There are some places near me that do £1500 for the venue including food for 75.

register office ceremony is costing £265 reception venue doesnt charge a room rent, so its just £50 per person for the meals. and then there are the welcome drinks, drinks on the tables and toast and that comes to approx £10 per head....so £60 per person in total is all we pay. the room is ours all day and night up to 11.30pm.
we are having a 4 course wedding breakfast for 24 guests.......starter, main, sorbet and dessert.... master of ceremonies cake stand and knife arrival drink red and white wine per table sparkling wine for toast flowers on each table table cloths red carpet on arrival
overnight bedroom usually free for the night but they are not available as they are full. its a complimentary room so theres nothing else they give you in place of it. (a bottle of champagne wouldnt have hurt would it)
approximately costing £1,700 for ceremony and reception, for 24 of us. (I thought that was a good price, but I know think it sounds expensive actually when i scroll up the thread and see some of the other prices)
I can resist anything but temptation

How long did it take you save pay off your venue-especially the £££'s of pound ones?
Thats the only thing thats putting me off booking somewhere in UK (besides the weather) Im a crappy saver so dont have a clue how much Id be able to save or how id do it for that matter...
Planning to perfection
CommentAuthorNatashaP86
sorry for sounding a bit dumb can you tell me how you pay, ie do u pay a booking fee or is it like half now half just before or do u pay monthly? x

We're £7500 for the venue for 90 day guests and 140 evening. It does include quite alot though
Welcome drinks canapes red carpet arrival room hire changing room bridal suite & breakfast toast master cake and antique cake stand and knife evening buffet Centrepieces All linen Chair covers and sashes table plan/place cards half bottle wine with meal sparkling wine for toast wedding co-ordinator 3 course wedding breakfast including 2 options for each course and veggy option Kids under 6 eat free
Not forgetting... free menu tasting session (3 course meal each) and wine tasting... yum yum! We can take along others for £30 per head which isnt bad at all and means I'd get the opportunity to taste everything lol
The cake is made by a shop we'd been going to get it through anyway so saves the hassle of having to arrange it while still getting to taste and choose our own cake... I love the foody bits :) x

Hi we are paying £3690 for our Wedding, Wedding Breakfast and reception at Nonsuch Mansion for 40 guests and upto 200 evening guests. It is for the whole Mansion for 12 hours, I get ready there with the bridal party and we get Nonsuch park for the Wedding Photo's. The food is amazing, the staff are excellent and you get your own wedding planner included in the price. You get the Cake stand and knife, white table linen and napkins, master of ceremonies, white easel for table plan. We made a deal with them that if we did it in the week they would drop the £2500 booking fee. It was still out of our price range but Phil said that we should go for it as I cried when we was shown where I would walk down the Isle.
I asked him if he liked me on 20thMarch 2005, he said yes
He asked me to marry him on 20th December 2010
We are getting Married on our 8th anniversary at Nonsuch on
20th March 2013, and I can't wait

well we havn't paid anything yet but have secured our date we pay a £1000 deposit at the end of the year cos thats wen the pricing will come out they cant charge us for anything till they have pricing for 2015 even tho we are getting it at the current years pricing when we do book :-)))
we are just going to save we have worked out our pennys and can manage to save £300 a month till may next year then wen we pay MIL money back we owed her we will be saving £850 a month, we are having to make sacrifices to be able to have it in 3 years but i dont mind it will be all worth it in the end and i only plan on getting married the once so want it to be the best possible. x

We paid our initial deposit of £200, then they want another payment 1 month before the wedding, then they want it fully paid the week before. I could actually pay it all off now, but I thought I'd let it sit in my ISA for 4 months and gain me a bit of interest.
I can resist anything but temptation
