me & h2b will be getting married 25th march...
when i was very young i lost my great aunt, & h2b lost his uncle. A couple of years ago we lost his grampy. A few years ago i lost a good friend, on 26th march.
We will have a photo frame which will contain a poem to "remember those who can not be with us"
everyone of our guests except maybe 4 friends will have known one or more of these 4 people. Its a nice little touch i think.

Ah thats a lovely thought :) Theres only my auntie who I was close to thats passed away but its a brilliant and thoughtful Idea xx
yeh my great aunt was my "dolly doctor" i used to pull the heads off my dolls then insist we travel 80miles as she was the only one allowed to put them back together! (and that was only one way! round trip was 160miles!!)
h2b's grampy met our eldest but didnt get to meet our youngest as by the time our youngest was well enough for the trip grampy passed. our yougest was a few months old when grampy passed so they didnt get to meet eachother.
h2b didnt meet my friend, but our eldest was only 2 months old when i got the call to say she had been taken & i collapsed in the middle of town, h2b was there for me through everything when she passed.he also never met my great aunt, & i never met his uncle.

Yeah my aunt was there for my eldest but not my youngets as she passed 4 month after my first one was born, and me and my partner had split then too, but I have little things in remembrance of her and I think that is a really special and treasurable idea for our day <3

ooo thats a thought.... my youngest (3) fell down the stairs on weds, after seeing docs we snuggled on sofa watching random tube of you videos, well one of the suggested ones he pointed to and asked to watch was about badge making. So we sat and watched it and i got "wow thats pretty cool mum" turns out he wants a badge maker. im desperately searching for one right now (past few days)& will continue to do so, however thought of getting him to make badges as pat of the favours.... "Best Man K & D DATE" the boys will obviously have "Page Boy Mum & Dad DATE" and other guests "K & D DATE"....

aww bless him, my two are on their 3rd breakfast this morning, Im sorting out table arrangements didn't realise how fussy people can be, so now, they will be seated where they are seated and that is the end of it! Sick of people complaining that they want to just sit with people they know! Grrr haha :)

No I havent actually, thats a good idea but some things are americanised and wouldnt really have them at a british wedding but I wouldnt have a clue what to do and what you dont do? Thats why Im better off on here reading old posts see what I can come up with :) x

I tend to find 2 or 3 lists and then take the bits I like and make my own list, that way you don't miss anything but your not following a list where a quarter is completely unrelated :) Next thing I need to do is look up wedding traditions and see what ones are important and which I can skip xx

I did the opposite! 7.5 hours sat at a desk followed but 45 mins of aerobics :) feel like a zombie now! Exercise is definitely bad for me :(
