Ok I know this has been covered time and time again, and I apologise for starting a new thread......

My sister is stressing out about suits, fg dresses and pretty much everything. I don't mind, but she is stressing in a different order to me - which in turn is stressing me out more!

My oh is so laid back he is horizontal....I tried to bring it up with him and he said dont worry I'll sort it.....how will you sort it....do you get discount for hiring more suits where are all the suit hire shops, are you going to get the cheapest deal....as you can imagine I'm getting less and less laid back....

So in conclusion to my ramblings and rantings I have done a bit of research and come across an online site advertised on here (it used to yours) or formally.....

Has anyone used them? Is anyone using them? It does seem like a good deal £57 each suit, £5 delivery £5 collection and only £3 waiver for accidental damage.

How does it compare to what others have got?

Rags we got the mens suits from Marks and S****** for £59 each and they own them! They do them in charcoal or black and are really smart. Cream waistcoats and red ties coming from the bay of e. :0)

    Can't wait to be married!

H2b and BM are joiners - they both already own a suit. H2b wants to hire....he doesn't want to wear his old suit and wants them all matching, but would rather hire than have another suit in the wardrobe.

I have suggested buying a couple of times, and been shot down.

i did look at them to and got a swatch through the post was very quick and they seem to have good reviews. i hired mine from a high street company was more expensive but got 20% discount for hiring 5 or more suits and it means every one gets properly measured and they have a fitting before the wedding so haven't got to worry them being measured properly and suits not fitting, plus i have 6 men all living in different places so meant although i bought from one shop they can go to any of the company's other shops to get fitted and measured

The mend suits are 85 each including insurance and they get them for 5 days. We're using a family run suit hire place in our town and they look amazing! Even includes shoes cufflinks etc x

    Here comes the bride......

My other issue is with the page boy....the one on line can do shirt tie and waistcoat for 25, this seems more reasonable than to expect my sis to fork out 89 for a 4 year old - I dont care about him wearing a jacket.

We are hiring form a local shop, we are paying for 7 grey suits with tails, shirts, waistcoasts and cravats..£732.00. We did get a discount for hiring over a certain amount (I think 5 or 6 suits).

Depends what suits you want really. If you want ones like are available in high street shops then I would buy them from there as they get to keep them and its cheaper. If you want tails etc. then hire as they were alot to buy, can't remember how much off the top of my head but may have been £400!

I don't know about hiring online. I prefered the service where a professional measures and fits you out and you get to try them on, without all the sending back if they dont fit x

We went to Greenwoods - husband hired his we bought for the best man, my dad and usher. They tend to have ongoing offers on instore - went we went all suits to buy were half price. We finished up buying 3 suits including shirts for just under £240 (and they get to keep them). Husbands suit (tails) was about £90 to hire (jacket, trousers, shirt, waistcoat and cravat and handkerchief).

ours is the same if you have a credit card if you havent got a credit card they have to take it off your debit card and refund it once they are returned undamaged. But my brother and sister in law hired off the same store for their wedding in june and they said the groomsmen weren't careful with there suits and found them to be very durable and weren't charged so im not worried especially as they get to keep the shirt and they will probably just have the shirt and trousers on by the time they're all drunk x

we went to grooms in chester. For tails, insurance etc we were quoted 800 but then they did a deal for 500. However, then we went to greenwoods and even though the suit quality wasnt as nice, I would have been happy enough, They quoted 383 so phoned groom back who said they will come down to 400 so will be going with groom we think. Pays to shop around and then try and haggle with suppliers

    Hey rags!.

My mate was telling me about these last night, i haven't checked them out yet but from other sites i've seen, these seem to be a really good deal!

We have enough clutter in our wardrobes so i think h2b is happy to hire :-) xXx

We hired from a highstreet shop, 6 morning suits with shirts, waistcoast, ruche and hankerchief for just over £400 including accidental cover.. Also they had a deal if you hire 5 suits you get the grooms suit free, so he is having a silk suit which is normally £120 to hire on its own. I thought it was an excellent price! And they all look amazing too. :) xx
