    I have this in my head that I want to put this ribbon our the guys favours (minature whisky) to match the kilts. I can not seem to find it anywhere I have googled it and still no luck. Any ideas?? xx

    you could get some actual tartan and cut it with zig-zag scissors(sorry can't remember the name of them) into strips and tie that on...or the menzie tartan is said to be similar colour, you can get that in ribbon. hope that helps.

    Thanks Yvonne my friend is a kilt maker and suggested the actual tartan as she is making H2B kilt and said there would be leftover material do you think thta would frey? I will have a look at the menzies one although Im sure I did last nt and did not really like it will check again though. xx

    HobbyCraft does tartan ribbon in a few different tartans so you could try that and see if one matches? x

    Contact a specialised Tartan shop..they could help ... or use the 'pinking shears' cutting idea!

    I have contacted a specialised tartan shop just waiting on them calling back. My friend suggested today I could just buy a nice grey ribbon as the kilt is grey do you think grey green and ivory is to many colours to be having. xx
