Awww that's so cool thank you! I been on some other forums and they seem quite cliquey and unfriendly so I kind of feel awkward posting and stuff but it seems nice here so I may stick around lol, I have a lot of ideas so far for the wedding including the dress which I found on Ebay, it has black lace on the top and around the bottom and it's like a fishtail style and it comes with a black lace shrug which probs sounds like really scary lol but I want an unusual dress as I'm quite quirky

Basically we are having a vintage chic theme on the cheap lol so Vivien of Holloway polka dot bridesmaid dresses and stuffs
Oh and the groom's name is Ray, he's a lovely guy and I can't wait to marry him <3

I love his books too, I had the joy of meeting him a few years back when I was a kids bookseller, it was brilliant!
I was a waitress at the North Staffs while I was at uni (10 years ago... I feel old!) so I guess I was an almost Stokie for 3 years! My Ray is lovely, I can't wait to get married. Unusually he's a Rayner rather than a Raymond though!

Have you read Susan Cooper? She's my original and favourite kids author... and who cares about young adult.... my bookshelves are about 80% kids books! I'd love to work in a kids bookshop again one day, when I've been called out at 3am to deal with the dregs of society it really does seem appealing!

I'm torn between a bookshop, a gallery or a tea shop! Maybe I could combine all three.....

Kay ( tiz my name too minus the 'E' lol ) You will love it on here, we all do and some of us are actually addicted, sad I know but very true ;) Enjoy having a nose at other peoples pic etc ... most of us kinda know what we are doing, but theres always room for more help or to bag a bargain! Pmsl I think we all have family and h2b's that are utterly sick to death of us and our wedding chats! I am making my own cupcake tower ( pics on my wall of my homemade rose cakes ) I really think they are soooooo gorge ;) word of warning they can be very expensive from a proper bakers .. I've seen them in wedding magazines priced as high as £7.50 PER CAKE!!!!!!!!! I'd try and get a family member or friend to whip some up for you if you want to save on that hun. I can give you good tips and websites if you need any help .. just shout!

Depending on the recipe you can quite often freeze the sponge bottoms, so you just have to kidnap a freezer drawer from everyone you know and then have an icing party a couple of days before the big day!!!!

Oooh we looked at the 3 horseshoes too! My boy (Chris) is from there (Cheadle), but did not go for it in the end.
