I have already made a few posts, and didnt realise how helpful everyone is! Wish I had of discovered ukbride much earlier as ive only got 6months to go until the big day. I have been with my h2b for just over 3years now and we have a 20month old son together. I am getting married on the 13th April 2013. Ive still got alot of planning to do and to be honest have moments of worry where I dont think im doing it right. There is just tooo much to remember.
Not having a huge wedding, as we are on a tight budget. Getting married in a registry office and then having a sit down meal and evening reception at a hotel. I havnt sorted my dress yet (may be sorted by the weekend coming) and still have a huuge list of things to plan. Ive tried writing a checklist and labelling it with things to do each month leading up to the wedding, and the next things for October to plan, is the dress,the flowers,my bridesmaid.
Looking forward to speaking to other brides to be! Glad ive found somewhere to get a few ideas and advice from :)

I do have lots to do! I didnt realise how quickly its creeping up on us! The dress is the next big thing, but im going at the weekend in the aim to buy 1- I've seen one I liked, so im just going back to double check. Feel a little worried about it all, as the hotel we are having our reception at, they dont have the wedding meeting until about feb to discuss things, and i feel asthough it needs to be sooner rather than later, so I know what i need to do, if that makes sense.

Hey Rachael, Welcome to the site and congrats on you up and coming wedding :) this site is fab isn't it. It's heped me out so much. There's times I've been mulling over how to word something and start a thread and someone else is in exactly the same boat so have posted already so it's great to see what advice is given :) x

Hi welcome and congratulations! this site is brill, absolutely love it! dont know what i'd do without my daily (if not hourly on some occasions!!) updates!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, especially when the other half doesn't want to take any interest or you feel like your pestering people to much over the W word, come here and everyone is eager to help advise and listen! xx
