As well as planning my own wedding, am also planning my friends hen do for this year. With it being her 30th also want to make it a great night/weekend to remember. Any ideas that could help me? Would be grateful for any thank you in advance x

Lots of luck with your planning. I went to Costa del Sol for 4 days for my friends hen do last yeah which was fab. What about a spa weekend, cocktail making, London Show, weekend in a different area (not sure where you are) like norfolk broads, Blackpool, Torquay, Dublin, cheerleading lesson or learning a dance routine, bingo!! Have no idea if this is any help!! Have fun :) x

we are going to york for two nights and then whitby because I am defo a city girl but I love the history of the place. Friend has taken over now tho so I dont know what we are doing when we get there.

Well someone gave me a brill idea gor a henparty/birthday party and that is hovercrafting! theres a place near me and you can do it on water and land in groups of 15 i think? My friends two sons did it and love it!
I would love to do that or white water rafting :-) right laugh! x

All I know is the dates and the city - my sister (MOH) has planned mine as a complete surprise! All my mates keep beaming though saying "it's going to be amazing!". I'll be able to tell you more once I've been!

thamks for all your ideas hovercrafting does sound fun ... were in the bath/midsomer norton area so not much to do here so i would prefer to take her away, i like the idea of surprises so may get the email addresses of the people she would like to invite and plan it that way. Have one idea its doing a tru print book as a surprise, that her friends and fam can place in pics of her and them and leave a message and give to her on the night, or is that rele naf? x

Well mine's changed from a weekend at Butlins, to a weekend at the races to a long weekend in either Marbella or Benidorm, I've just handed it over to my Bridesmaids now xx Think my h2b's going to Barcelona or Bulgaria xx

I think the tru print book is a great idea and will be a lovely memory. I think I'm gonna get my friend a voucher for a photo book for her birthday as she is off on her honeymoon to NZ a few days before (but she got married 2 and a half years ago). Thought it may be a nice way to have some of her honeymoon pics X

ska do you want a relaxing spa type of thing or would she be into activities and stuff? cuz loads of places do activity weekends, i'm going to two hens in april, first one staying in log cabin in pitlochry in scotland for weekend, white water rafting, great outdoors and all that. second one another activities one, think there's off-road driving in 4x4s and zorbing and stuff? and then there's a meal included or whatever. might not be any help at all if she's not into that sort of thing but anyway!! on the other side of the coin there's always pamper weekends and stuff?

i think more of an activity as she doesn't go out very often now she has her lil one, did look at spas as ther thermae bath spa they do a good booking so was looking into that as a back. but i like tinsels idea so i may go with that once i find out who is invited and get email addresses and try and organise a surprise outing. maybe a mix of spa and outing tiring but great experience. Thank you for all your help guys x
