Just having a rant. I have two friends who are getting married this year also, 1 in may and the other in October my rant is about the October bride, has my hen night is at the end of march it is a cocktail do at a casino but it's a package of £20.95 which include meal & free drink £10 chip 2 gamble & a free lean how 2 play on one of the tables now i think that's great value for money!! However the October bride & her best friend who r both invited to the hen night & evening of my wedding, were complaining how much money they haven't got, and they r only gonna take a bit of money coz they won't drink much any how & when asked if they wanna come wiv me in the limo for only £20 each they made it clear it was 2 much money!! Fair enough I thought they have kids & that plus one is saving 4 her own wedding!! However the October bride is having her hen night by going 2 a concert in June which is £61 4 a ticket plus £10 petrol money plus money 4 food & drink which will add up 2 about £100 or more!! But while I'm happy 2 do this I just think its a cheek how they both made a point about how they can't afford my hen night but expect me 2 fork out for her's!! Plus they want/need the £61 up front which I haven't got, but have gave £40 2 the best friend!!
However I've asked for the money back explained 2 them I can't afford it now as my wedding/hen night is just around the corner however after mine & the wedding in may I will get a ticket and go!! I think this is fair, wot do others think am I being out of order or being fair???

Her priority is going to be her hen night. That said it sounds like she really isn't interested in spending time/money at the casino. I have a feeling that's why she says she can't afford it.

I do know she is short of money, its just that she/they expect me 2 fork out loads when they know I've a wedding in 7weeks!! And while I love going 2 concerts & have been 2 loads the last few years I'm not sure it b a good hen night, but each 2 there own!!! It just feels like that she thinks its all about her!! Or is that wot I'm thinking?? It's all about me lol I just needed a rant, I will happily go and I'm sure it will b a good night,I just b buying my ticket later than others!!! X rant over lol

lol, I think it's a little bit of that going on. Your hen night is going to be the most important in your eyes as hers will be for her. I think it's best to rant a while and then let it go, it just isn't worth the stress.
