Eek!! Haven't even thought about it but am going on two in April - one involves zorbing and clay-pigeon shooting...the other possibly white-water rafting and then just a bit of hiking and plenty of relaxation (I hope!). For the first we're staying in a hotel, for the second we're renting a log cabin for the weekend :)

Ha! Definitely getting carried away!! Well the first one is costing £70 pp for activities and meal, and the hotel room that night is £47 pp b&b. That's in Northern Ireland so possibly a bit cheaper. The place does special offers for hens and stags though, and the bride whose hen it is was at another on once which was organised through an events company and she said it was a really good deal too, so maybe look along those lines?

We had a joint do, had a total of 34 of us in the end laser tag outdoors in the snowy woods. We went yesterday, followed by a meal. Was an absolutely awesome day! Everyone paid £20 each then bought their own food and drink afterwards. It was amazing seeing so many of our friends in the same place at the same time and it appealed to so many people.....even people who didnt come to laser tag were all too happy to meet us in the pub afterwards for food and drink :D

Very cold, and totally wore me out! my back is killing me today and my team lost but it was such a giggle i would totally do it again!

Plus i had carvery afterwards with drinks and pudding it only came to about £15!

I'd say the snowy woods were amazing for it :) That's the kind of day I'd like I think, just a really good laugh and chance to catch up over a nice meal :)

I'm having a Burlesque themed hen night in Brighton. Mini bus to Brighton (i live an hour away), Adonis Caberet club and then Oceana Nightclub afterwards. Was going to do a weekend away but everyone i've invited has got small children, myself included, so was a bit much to ask for everyone to come away for a couple of nights.

I think you're right - weekends away are a big ask time- and money-wise. Did you try and find out what people thought about a burlesque night before arranging it or did you just go for it?

we're going to london! We're going on the train, doing some shopping and sight-seeing, then going to see Stomp in the evening and staying overnight in a Travelodge. There's only 5 of us going but I can't wait! Its costing £90 each but everyone was really excited so didn't mind paying it. Have bought myself a new dress and everything! haha :o)

My sister is my MOH and has spent the last week organising mine. We are going out for cocktails on the Friday, its an old haunt of ours & is pretty cheap. On the Saturday we are having an actual 'hen party' my cousin has got the room in a pub for free, we are having s3xy fancy dress (my sis is an ann summers rep, so we all have outfits anyway) the drink is cheap there & my fam have all chipped in 4 a stripper i think - but he aint even 4 me lol its just n excuse of my sisters. Sunday is my surprise which my mom & sis have paid 4 and my cousins r coming.

H2B's stag is the weekend after he is going paintballing or sumthing (hes checking the likes of groupon etc) then pub to play pool n maybe go karting (again groupon lol) the next day. Then the week before we fly a most of us are going 4 a meal.

Madhen, i just went for it - didn't bother asking.. Maybe i should of done because a couple of the girls are a bit apprehensive. I've stated that they can take the burlesque theme as drastic as they like though, some might go for the full on outfit where others might just wear a fascinator/mini top hat x
