My bridesmaid obviously wanted to plan my hen night, however her first idea was to go to nottingham on a night out... a lot of my friends who I would like there wont leave there kids and so we decided to have it in it my home town....
my bridesmaid wants us to dress up as footballers all with normal football shirts on ( a lot of my friends don't want to do this as they think we wont get in a lot of places, and to be fair it would depend what bouncers where on the door in my eyes )
One of my friends has tried to talk her out of it but she wont have non of it. I don't know how to try and talk to her she can be quite funny and likes things her way! urghhhhhhh.....

I dont think football tops would be a good idea either like you say you may not get into alot of places. nighclubs wont let you in wearing trainers so dont see football tops being allowed in. xx

Is there a particular reason she wants everyone to wear football shirts? Seems a bit random for a hen do?

It would be understandable if yous were big football fans but like mel says its a bit random. The printed tshirts seem a good idea. xx

i know its traditional or the MOH/CBM to organise the hennight but ultimitly its your night not hers id put my foot down down to be honest its not a good idea no nightclubs where we are would allow any type o football shirt to be worn so you dont wanna go out wearing them and risk not getting in ! xx

tell her to go and speak to the staff of the places she wants to go about dress codes, im sure they'll tell her they wont let her in wearing a footie strip, hearing it direct from them might sway her into realizing shes being daft

one of my bridesmaids got a bit carried away planning my hen night too, she even sent a message on facebook to all my friends telling them what she was planning, excluding my sister who is MOH! i told her that me and my sister were a bit hurt by it, she was really offended at first but now realises it was a bit out of order. just tell her that if she can't plan something nice then she can't plan it at all! x

A lot of places have a door policy about sports wear...

I would definitely think of changing the fancy dress theme, you need to be blunt with her and tell her to change it! xxxx

we are just doing famous people, that way people can go really over top or just stick a dress on n say there some model or somet, then everyones comfortable.maybe u could get a group together and just tell her in a nice way that u need to come up with something to suit everyone or else all do ur own thing, she needs to realise its ur hen do and it should be what ur comfortable and happy with.x

we thought of the idea of doing pink ladies last night and i would be sandy, great idea we thought cause its not to expensive to do,
nooo bridesmaid decided we cant do that because she doesnt want to wear one of those tacky pink jackets... Shes in the army and yes does have a little bit more money to waste than us. I think all my friends are getting annoyed at her now because nothing is good enough, So far bridesmaid has decided on disney theme, the outfits at like 40 quid plus which we just dont have! x

sorry but whos hen night is this?? it sounds to me like she wants everything her way or no way at all!! if you want to do pink ladies tell her you are doing it and that is final. if she doesnt like it she doesnt have to come! and what is tacky about pink jackets. i went to chessington a couple of years ago as a pink lady for a friends 30th and loved it!!

i know she is your bm but it does sound as if she doesnt care what you want. my 2 bm came up with the idea for mine and i loved it but if i didnt they would have said dont worry but do you want and would have been completly happy to do what i wanted as it is my hen night and my wedding!

i think you need to tell her straight as otherwise this isnt going to get sorted xx
