I have been searching the net for a bit tonight for the hen party sashes you get, you know just the ribbon with something printed on them etc etc...and cant seem to find a decent one less then £2 odd! I really dont want to be spending a small fortune on bits of ribbon, (but do want the sashes for my girls) My theme for the hen night is black 'n' bling, so everyone can wear whatever they want, aslong as its black with bling added....
anyhow - do u recon making sashes is as easy as i think it may be....i can order the 4"wide satin ribbon cheaply of the bay, and what i was thinking of doing is either....supergluing the diamante rhinestones on to the ribbon (saying whetever) or writing the text in superglue and sprinking glitter and waiting for it to dry....hmm what do u recon?
I have seen the iron on transfer things but apparently they dont stick to well on satin, and they are expensive anyhow x

Hi hun, I actually organised my sisters hen night last year and got a gorgeous personalised sash for £1.90 including postage and in arrived quite quick too!!
It said 'The future Mrs Hutchinson' and it had a couple of rhinstones on it. You could go for something like that, personalise them and bling them up a bit more. The sash was very classy, i chose black with silver writing but you can chose what colours you want.
I'll put a link to the seller on your wall.
May take the stress out of doing it yourself and you can then add your own touches. Good luck in whatever you decide xx

I've had to post it on my wall as i can't access yours yet. The link takes you to the seller who doesn't have any items at the moment but i'm sure if you message her you might be in with some luck? xx

That's part of the fun on a hen night, getting completely covered in glitter! Haha!
I had a masquerade theme for my sister and we had plain red masks and she had a big sparkly red one... by the end of the night we were all covered in red glitter and everyone but my sister had stained faces from the masks! It was hilarious! Washed off thank god!! I guess what i'm trying to say is, i wouldn't really worry about it xxx

It's your hen night too and unless your were dressing everyone up in something really hideous then i'm sure your girlies wont be bothered about a bit of glitter. When you've made them, i'd love to see pics :) xx

ps... i'd personally go for both... a bit of glitter and a rhinestones! A girl can never have enough sparkle on her hen night ;) xx
