    Hi everyone,
I totally have no ideas about what to do for my hen do.
My h2b is going to bulgaria but as we are getting married abroad I dont really feel like I can expect my guests to pay to go abroad for both my hen do and the wedding!
I dont like the idea of a loud, drink fuelled hen do as thats not really my kind of thing. I'd like it to be lots of fun and something to remember that all the party (of different ages) will enjoy.
Does anyone have any ideas and what has everyelse got planned? x

Thats a nice idea! My bridesmaid has found a hotel/spa with a meal out in the city and treatments included, I do really like the idea although it was in Leeds and thats where I live so I can go to Leeds anytime. I have looked for this kind of offer in other cities but cant find any!!!! Is yours a surprise?! x

Someone I know had a wine and cheese party for her hen night! Another idea is a switch and bitch party, everyone brings things they no longer wear/have use for and a bottle and you all swop the clothes you dont want for clothes you like the look of whilst having a drink and a chit chat :) x

We WERE going to go to my friends horror themed restarant for a meal, then into the town, but my MOH has now decided we are going to book a table at The Birdcage, then go off into the Village later on and are having a Gothic/Burlesque theme lol

Newquay is lovely... a surfers paradise, I went once a few years back, and you can just walk round in your bikini, vest and shorts, hair a mess (the beach look apparantely) and really enjoy yourself!
Looked at making it a week hol, as I got an amazing tan last time, then arranging an action packed day with paintballing and quad biking, then a spa pampering day, then the rest as a hol!!!
    xx

I was looking into hiring private kareoke rooms - you can do it in a few locations accross the UK. It's my favourite thing to do in China, so...

Failing that, I wondered about the 80s weekend in Henley!

I love York races Sophie its a brilliant day out! You'll have an excuse to drink extra champagne as its your hen do!!!

Kizzy there is a kareoke bar in Leeds that I have been to before on a hen night it was lots of fun, but not when i saw and heard the video of my singing the next day I'm surprised they didn't kick me out I was that bad but at they time I really thought I was great!

The ghost hunt sounds really cool I love scary stuff like that, where are you doing that?!

There's 2 different nights for the ghost hunt, one is in skinningrove, north yorkshire, the other danby castle in danby north yorkshire, the 1st one is £20 each, the 2nd £25 each. its on www.abbeyghosthunters.co.uk.

think the kareoke bar is called ok kareoke. i'm sure they'll be used to dodgy warbling lol!!

I'm just wondering what everyone is doing for there hen nights? I'm not sure what to do, my Chief Bridesmaid is my Sister Clare and she's awesome, but she'll organise to go out drinking, because that's what she does. But I don't want that, because of my Kidney Failure I can't drink, so any ideas would be welcomed, and also ideas on how I can tell my Sister what I want without her taking any offense to be told what to do? xx

We're going to a small music festival dressing up as fairies and staying in a teepee (I'm not supposed to know that bit my sister let it slip) We are doing the Fri night/Sat day then the Stags are doing Sat night/Sun day so we won't need babysitters. Can't wait it's next weekend! Just hope the weather is good.
As to Hen nights without drink perhaps a spa day, action day, a nice meal? I'm afraid to say mine is going to include lots of booze!
Ignition I'm sure your sister would understand if you asked for something without drinking being involved, I know it's not fun to be the only sober one on a hen night I did a couple when I was pregnant.xx

All my BM's are flying in from Norway and my MOH from New York so I'm forced to have a "last minute" sort of thing, think we'll either do a spa day and quiet drinks the night before, or (as all of them have said they'd rather come over early to help and stuff) we might set something up like going to Alton Towers or summat the week before :) but none of us are big drinkers so no hangover for us! :) xx
