So my MOH paid deposit and booked Hen Do on Friday based upon final numbers of people who definitely said they were coming. Yesterday we all got our on line access and she registered the emails and i paid my deposit. Then last night i get a text from my step mom saying that she doesnt want to come any more because she has just found out that my mom is going?!?! (why she thought my mom wouldnt go in the first place confuses me?) she said that she thinks that it will be awkward as my mom is my dads ex even though my step mom and dad have been going out for nearly 22 years (im only 23) so the majority of my lives they have been together - much longer than my mom and dad were together. so my step mom and 3 other people that were coming with her are now not coming to hen do so we might not even reach minimum numbers.
to top it all off my mom is also complaining that she doesnt want to do cocktail making and she wants to stay in a different better hotel - apparently a 4 star holiday inn in bristol isnt good enough for her! so she is going to make her my auntie my cousin and SIL stay in another hotel and not book in with the package! so we really arent going to get minimum numbers for hen do anymore and we will probably lose our deposits.
sorry for the rant! if i was organising the hen do myself it would be cancelled by now! x

I would explain to them that it's already booked & that if they pull out everyone will lose there deposit! Also regarding your mum & step mum is there anyway they could meet before the hen night, maybe even be sneaky & invite them round for tea, without letting then know the other person will be there. Luckily my parents both get on with each other's new partners, I also get on with my step kids mum, we have been out partying together a few times lol.

lol O dear! Mine was a pain in the backside to sort out too :/ (and I stayed in my home town!) Quite a few cancelled and then wanting to come the day before! 6 off them! They couldn't come cos there was no places available..
on the plus side..I did cocktail making! It was absolutely AMAZING!! :)

my mom has now decided that she is going to come but everyone is waiting for someone else to pay deposits first for some reason! looks like we might reach the minimum numbers though which is good. hopefully it all goes smoothly from here! x

Why is it when its YOUR DAY other people, who yeah ok, are close to you try to steal YOUR DAY.

haha i know the feeling. me and MOH wished that we would have just gone away for weekend on our own abroad or something lol. the wedding itself has been so easy to plan (so far touch wood!!) except for a little tiff with my mom about guest list. but the hen do has been a nightmare from day one! cant wait for it to be over lol x
