Howdy fellow brides, shall any of you be attending the wedding fair at Hemswell Court on 11th Sept, I shall be going & it is my first ever visit to a wedding fair so im quite excited ! Not sure what im expecting ... we shall see!

take a note pad, i found that helped me keep track of things i'd seen and liked. plus, get all the leaflets etc that you can carry so you can keep track too. xx

Thanks gem, I presume you don't try dresses on etc every things just for show & you walk round? Can you buy things or is it just for ideas they have them ? Sorry for being a little nIeve lol xx

some i have been to you could buy stuff, the one i went to at tatton park had stalls with jewellry, tiaras and shoes that you could buy there and then. i think it depends on the fair. my friend bought her dress at a wedding fair and saved quite a bit of money. i think if you ask nicely enough they'd let you try on the dresses. xx

Oki poki thanks for the insight I was really unsure as to what to expect we were only told it was on when we booked our venue there so thought we d go along xx

i was the same, it can be a little intimidating. don't feel like you have to book anything whilst you are there. go home and have a think first. it can be very easy to get swept up in it all and book the first thing you see! enjoy it! i love going to them. gonna miss them once I'm married! lol xx
