Hi everyone I'm new to this and not sure how it works but thought I'd give it a go anyway. Due to my fiancé's rather large family we have decided we are going to get married away from Home and only invite immediate family which cuts out the stress of our intimate wedding being too big which is where I'm struggling.... Does anyone know of any romantic venues to get married at either in Scotland or the lake district Which are also not too expensive... ??? This is turning in to be a nightmare as all of our original plans have gone out of the window :-(

We have our venue booked in Shap, they have a great offer on at the moment for a wedding package including the civil cermony costing £2012, I will post it on your wall. We are not having the cermony there so dont too much of that side of things but the package is fantastic xx
