buy one from m&s or asda extra special, they do them in 3 sizes so you could easily stack them and decorate them for under £50

Try you local college and see if they have a catering department, most level 3's are really fantastic at making the cakes and i think they will only charge cost price aswell

Try a company called lawsons, there good you can pick 1, 2 or 3 teirs, chocolate, sponge or fruit or mix and match, there plain but very cheap, i think 3 teirs iced with cake stand and knife to hire included came to £85. If not M&S do wedding cakes from £35 x

M&S for us!! Fruit cake for 3 cakes is £115 without the tiers and the sponge cake is £75 for all 3 cakes without the tiers... I think there around £5 for 4. They all come on it's individual cake board aswell.

They can either come in white or ivory and you can do with them as you wish :)

Where having 2 tiers sponge cake :) xx

...did you Mum tell her the truth? Did you get your £££ back...? If money has been handed back..I would, without ANY hesitation inform her the product she has been making on more than one occasion has been 'tainted'. I think the previous cake buyers need to speak up too...to HER as well as other potential customers!

ginge - best your Mum keeps 'it zipped' til the £££ is in her hand...and IF the cake woman kicks up a fuss re re-imbursement, then let her know the cake returner was your cousin and you are not happy buying a cake with added extras you did not order (hair).

Any further fuss..let her know you WILL be reporting her to the EH and passing onto ALL wedding suppliers you have dealt with her cakes are furry!

Hey! I work at ASDA (not on the bakery I must say) but we do have some yummy cakes! (: You could do as someone mentioned before && buy the extra special cakes in the three different sizes, buy some sugar flowers, some ribbon, && some tiers && make it yourself.....or you could always do what CeCe said. Phone ASDA, explain what happened, & see if they could help you with it. I know we are normally very willing to help people out like that so you never know! All depends on your local store! Good luck! (: xxx
